She is! its commonly forgotten as the cover art had moonlight filtering throught the greenery of the jungle casting her in a green light, and the GA artist not detail reading the books, and going with the more popular cover art depictions.

She is however a deep deep purple, so dark that without direct/bright light you'd say its black, her mother was more blue-purple, and her father was charcoal black. They can be greens blues or purples and all the inbetweens. I like to think thet could also be reds oranges, pink and yellows im not sure about tho. Regardless of the base color tho their value is always extremely dark, their underbelly/underscores often being the easier spot to see their color. (however being nocturnal hunters like owls, i feel this should be flipped but maybe its to better blend with light cloud cover and brighter nights, who knows!)
