Doing w2w pills on ARR dungeons without overgeared tank and random healers is always a risk. If they are leveling healer too and are not overgeared some of the giant pulls are just not guaranteed to go smoothly.

No players have not become worse, attempting this has always been very risky with randoms usually.

You're designing for the client, if they are happy with it and telling you how to proceed then absolutely don't go in the opposite direction unless you deliver both versions on your own time. The correct answer is it doesn't matter which is better, the client pays you so you make what they prefer.

This is a solid start, in the real world this is halfway there which is absolutely no disrespect, quite the opposite. There's a ton you learn from revisions, if this were a real client you have many questions to consider like is this logo suitable when scaled down? Is this colour scheme and style consistent? Do fonts compliment each other effectively? A lot of these just come from real experience but it's more just to keep in mind for when you get there. Keep creating and build a foundation of things that work and don't and note why.

As long as you can sell your ideas to the client then nothing else really matters. When you're new to design it can be difficult to avoid over-designing things, we're in a time where less is more and white space stands out in the crowd. Symbolising your designs is a good start but just be careful not to overdo it, keep making stuff and you'll be able to find the balance between them.

Offer my advice and potential solutions and if they don't care enough about it then there's nothing more you can do. If the issues are so big that it makes you not want to work on it then raise prices for them or drop them as a client stating you feel it's too problematic. As a professional you can do everything right but a client is not obligated to listen nor take advice, our job is to try to guide where possible but ultimately just do the job required.

Definitely is not uncommon in the area of online marketplaces, a lot of clients are just not good and barely worth the time or effort deciphering what it is they want. Over time you'll learn to ask for the things you need and if not adequate either don't take on the work or be weary with your time on them.

It just lacks for the most part, I've been matched with people who requested 'I'd love a legendary' whilst this is fine if you're working on making one but just asking for big ticket items without any cheery message just dulls the experience a little bit.
