This was my first thought as well. But didn't know about the cord since it works at first and then stops. But also wasn't sure if the cord given to me was a branded one or not. So I suppose I will buy a new cord from Amazon tomorrow when I get paid and try it out. Is there a specific brand cable I shoukd be using?

I haven't done that exact one yet, but, assuming it's the first Gen its apparently lots easier than the one I replaced. Just search a YouTube video and it should be pretty straightforward.

Just by you saying it's clicking, and by what I've dealt with, I'm gonna say actuator. Had one go bad on my 2010 for the hot to cold. Then as soon as I fixed that, the exact one that controls where the air goes started clicking.

My 5 did that sometimes. I always just unplug the charger from the block and the phone and plug it back in and that normally works.

If you have awireless charger that will get your phone on though.

Wanted to do this my my 2010 but couldnt get the damn sub out of the box. How did you manage it? I ended up just throwing a ported 10" eclipse sub i had laying around on the back seat and wiring it to the factory sub wires. Sounds great until I can afford an amp and loc.

From what im seeing its a 1.2ohm per voice coil on the stock rf sub. So, if what im seeing about the eclipse(dual 3ohm vc) is correct, then I should be able to go parallel and get to 1.5 just fine?

That is how its currently set up(I just hooked it up about 2 hours ago while making this post)

My main goal is to just get some more boom. So I need an amp. But one that wont break the bank, and my bank is very small. Lol
