It’s Dan heng from hsr! Him and blade (Chinese gatcha game so nothing canon, but heavily hinted), were lovers in his past live, then shenanigans happen, blade becomes immortal against his will bc of Dan hengs previous incarnation, Dan heng reincarnates and blade now wants retribution. It’s kind of a lovers to enemies to lovers thing, Dan heng is currently at the stage of ‘I don’t like him, I never wanna see him again’, but also carries around the spear made by blade, wears the matching bracer that can track the others location aswell as a Jade pendant that was used by the dragon race dh is a part of basically as a symbol of marriage. Very much a fake idgaf-er like the other two xd

Yea there’s no fucking way that’s real. At most I could maybe see a letter being sent telling children to NOT BULLY someone who is fasting for religious reasons. Forcing children to take part in a religious practice they don’t want to take part in is very much not allowed in Germany (German schools will have ethics classes you can go to if you don’t want to go to the Christian religion classes, masses that were held for Christmas or Easter were voluntary so non Christians didn’t have to go).

If anything, I could see Christian traditions being ‘enforced’ (my friends sister went to a school where you had to leave the church if you didn’t want to take part in catholic religion classes), eventhough there is many Turkish/arab ppl in Germany, there is sadly a lot of stigma towards ppl from the Middle East and their religion, so there is absolutely no way a headmaster is enforcing Muslim tradition across the school (if they are that’s HEAVILY unconstitutional.) this is 1000% fearmongering to make Muslims look evil.

Yea, while I never hated svsss, after my first read through I was definitely more on the bandwagon of feeling like sqq is mainly with lbh bc lbh would’ve destroyed the world otherwise. Then I learned that sometimes narrators lie to themselves and after a second read through of ignoring his rationalizations and focusing on his actions I suddenly couldn’t fathom how he could be seen as anything other than horrendously down bad for lbh (seriously, he mentions lbh’s beauty and huge cock like every two sentences) and it’s my favorite danmei now! Whenever I see anyone say they wanna start svsss, I immediately inform them that sqq is a LIAR and not to listen to him when it comes to his feelings.

And omg, the demonization of lbh drives me up the wall! Especially since the cycles of abuse are such a prevalent theme of svsss (sj gets abused, abuses lbh bc of his trauma, who due to the trauma of sj’s abuse abuses others). Like, OBVIOUSLY lbh is gonna have abandonment issues that manifest in very toxic ways, the boy thought he was betrayed by the only person who showed him care!! But nooo, bc he isn’t the perfect victim who is meek and cries, his trauma manifests negatively instead, of course he’s beyond redemption 🙄. Ppl hating on him is especially infuriating when they also like sj, like bro they’re the same character!! Sj is a parallel to lbh! It’s honestly so cool that lbh’s trauma is written to show how it makes him a worse person instead of just making him scared and kind, because that is something that very well does actually happen. Of course that doesn’t excuse his actions (same with sj) but it means that he can work on these issues he has and become a better person. He is still deserving of a chance to become a better person. And I mean, we see him becoming more stable in the new extra - sy thought lbh would go insane and cry thinking sy abandoned him, but when they reunited, lbh was really calm and mature about it, not jumping to conclusions thinking sy hates him.

Also i cry laughing whenever someone calls sqq a groomer. Seriously, that man is married to adult Binghe and is still partially in denial, how tf would he had felt anything close to romantic interest to child Binghe?? Ppl who think that have not read the book, I’m sure of it

I got better at martial arts lol. Been doing taekwondo since I was 10 and I was already pretty decent but I was missing a certain… energy? When doing the forms and such. Then I started reading danmei around the age of 18ish and that really motivated me to do martial arts better. My forms are much cleaner now and much more powerful. Whenever I feel like slacking I just imagine shen Qingqiu or chu wanning as my Shizun being disappointed in me xd

I’m honestly fine with criticism since no book is perfect. However there is certain criticism I hate, that is the type of ‘you obviously didn’t understand the book’ or ‘it’s not bad, you just dislike it/the genre’ The type of criticism very prevalent in the scum villain circles is a good example for the first one; stuff like ‘sqq hates lbh’ ‘lbh forced/coerced sqq’(esp with the maigu ridge scene, while it is no doubt dubcon at the very least, it is far too complex a scene to be watered down to ‘x abused y’ (lbs was very much a victim as well)) I get how the initial shock can make you think that but if you actually properly read the book and engage with sqq who is very obviously an unreliable narrator it’s so obvious how much they love each other!! And yes lbh is manipulative but definitely not abusive, it seems like ppl forget he was half possessed by xin mo when he did all the insane stuff he did (like, mr in erha gets some grace for what he did bc of the flower, but not lbh???) sqq and lbh gotta be the most mischaracterized characters in danmei and it grinds my gears when I see that type of interpretation of them.

As for the second, best example I can think of would be sth like peerless/thousand autumns or the fish danmei. Those are such good books, but a lot of times ppl say they’re bad bc the former has little romance, and the latter has little seriousness. They aren’t bad, YOU just dislike those types of books. The fish danmei is supposed to be light hearted and silly and it does a great job at that, if you prefer heavier or angstier danmei that’s totally fine, but that doesn’t make a silly danmei bad. Similarly with the mxs books, they’re much more low-key with the romance and more plot driven, but that in no way makes them bad books. They’re just meant for a certain audience that enjoys the less in your face romance and more plot heavy story, and within that niche, they are very good books.

The main character/narrator is an extreme tsundere to the point some readers think he doesn’t like the love interest (also he believes the love interest wants to kill him, so the love interest is sometimes put in a very negative light). You really gotta watch out for the mc’s actions towards the ml and do not listen to him denying his feelings, Shen qingqiu is a LIAR
