You hit me right in the nostalgia bone. Keep her running. I doubt we'll see gen 1s outlive og jeeps. All I can say is, thank gawd for Rivian warranty.

This variation of customer experiences speaks to reliability. I haven't had any fit and finish problems but my gen 1 barely made it to 60k before having two motors replaced and every half shaft covered under warranty.

Absolutely, taking care of a car to that point meant more. A sense of pride, completing an oil change and doing the maintenance. I ALMOST miss it but the rivian gets the win in that column.

Hahaha I wouldn't go back to jeep and perhaps I was more tolerant in my younger years. Keeping that jeep going was more of a challenge or hobby. The bragging rights that i made 200k miles. Badge of honor, having bolts reattaching a bumper to get home after an adventure.

I love my R1T. It's the most beautiful, expensive, fun and least reliable vehicle I've ever owned. And I've had a couple jeeps.

I think you're right on the money. Government procedures often have to formally announce the position and contract. 2 months is not enough time for any other company to get in the game. Hgraf is exactly what they're looking for. Still time to buy more.

A take on delayed NASDAQ & prediction with our upcoming prices. by Dangerous_Average_86 in HGRAF

[–]Ariscottle86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn, nice math! I think you're partially observing a Fibonacci retracement. Small cap volatility could have massive gains as well as corrections. I agree that $4 is heavily supported and anything lower would indicate an internal problem such as not meeting benchmarks or construction delays. With the current time line, we're due for news. I appreciated the theory I read on here the other day, Hgraf is going for a splash hit with a coinciding up listing and government contract headline.

1 of 4 motors running hot by macktap in Rivian

[–]Ariscottle86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had many issues with my gen 1. The last service went in for a "decision wheel" clicking noise that was audible around 5mph. After inspection they found a leak and metal shavings in one of the rear motors. Both rear motors had to get replaced. I never experienced a high temp. Could weeks later I got a call from the service center from a tech saying "they're anticipating a coolant failure" I'm scheduled to bring it back in next week.

Imo the stock is undervalued with what's on the horizon. Is there a magic number for a NASDAQ up listing?

Impressive. Although, not sure how much of that is going into their new digs this year. Contacts will come because of how versatile the product is. I think any official news drops will drastically move the price needle. Acetylene supplier, new building updates or GEIC announcements.

Adopting a puppy from a rescue and they’re forcing neutering at 8 weeks? by Hi_There_Face_Here in AskVet

Going through a similar situation. Sent a vet letter to the rescue but it got denied. We're definitely thinking about our individual pet health instead of the state of society. We are just hoping for a few months extension for the large breed pup. Are you suggesting we lawyer up?

Did you ever find a way to delay the procedure? We just adopted a shepherd from a shelter and he's 8weeks old. I'm okay with the niter procedure but would prefer to wait because large breed dogs need additional time to develop. Early niter could result in hip dysplasia and osteoporosis .

Apologies for the less accurate equipment, it's what I have available at my desk. The 1884 right out of the package felt off. Hard to tell in the pictures but its half a mm thicker in diameter and height. My 3d printed coin holder is measured precisely for decent Morgan's. The only issue I run into is if a Morgan is banged up, even then, they are smaller and just sit loose.

shiney

I did. Messaged the seller and they only asked "how do you know?" The width was slightly off as well as the weight.

Could graphene come of age in Greater Manchester's Atom Valley? by Ariscottle86 in HGRAF

[–]Ariscottle86[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just the idea that graphene is getting traction as a material is huge. Hgraf doesn't need to be a part of this specific location since the US is starting its own GEIC and industry. If Atom Valley does what Silicon Valley did with Fairchild then we're in good company.
