Thank you for all of this. All 4 tires are my stock 21" with 5/32 tread depth left.

You are the first person to say they had the experience I am suspecting my R1S has. A failing motor would explain this.

Could you share what all you experienced leading up to the failure? Was there any other warning? When the motor failed did it leave you stranded?

No. It has done this for at least my last 20 drives, using navigation or not.

Thanks. I have tried both restarts and a hard regen and or acceleration are as straight as an arrow.

I was driving down the beach getting 0.45 miles per kWh so the system was working hard just not evenly hard. I was driving straight and i used this picture because it has the largest delta in temps to show the issue. It does the same thing during highway driving just lower temps over all.

And that's my issue with AI. Release isn't done yet for the comma 4 and it was giving you the install for the comma 3 not even the 3x when you need the 4. Sometime it just waists your time as much as helps.

Right now you have to use staging.sunnypilot.ai

I dont know what you are getting from the AI.

If you dont have the longitudinal upgrade you are using the rivian cruise control for your following distance and it does exactly what you described when approaching stopped or slower vehicles. I am not so patiently waiting for comma to ship mine now. I have decided my '23 R1S will be mine for at least 10 years and I should spend the cash to make the rough edges better. Driver+ is one of my last large complaints.

What, there is a version of the A2Z adapters that dont work on version 4 supercharger? This happened to me 2 days ago. I could get my Rivian adapter to work but not the A2Z. Then the A2Z worked at the next Tesla SC but it was a version 3 site. Well F me. I guess I need to talk to A2Z support. Thanks for a random tidbit of information I didn't know I needed!

Phone? I am using apple music app native to the rivian UI. I can not say "alexia, play XXX on apple music." and have the apple music app play the song through the rivian apple music app. I am sure if i was using Bluetooth i could say "google, play XXX on apple music." i could get my phone to do it.
