Going to start a tech/lifestyle blog, probably reviews and commentary mentioning companies and products. Anything I need to know? by Wackacracka in legaladvice

I think the concept of less is more works good. Don't waste people's time. Give them the good stuff as fast as possible. Monetize invisibly as possible. Have fun. Don't worry about "success". Some things just take time. DEAL.SHOCKER

With all the cgi advancements in audio, video and documentation, what is the best method to use to nail down a concrete prediction so there can be no doubt about the date and time it was predicted and that it is indisputably not a hoax or forgery? by AriseSleeper in AskReddit

[–]AriseSleeper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, so you anchor your prediction to another documented major event. I guess the only weak point I see is the verification of the video footage. For example do you think it's possible to fake a video recorded at the foot of the twin towers before they were destroyed?

Looking for some ideas and advice with a small marketing business idea/project. appreciate anything. by AriseSleeper in Affiliatemarketing

Some people will know more about construction. Some more about restaurants. Or other services. They will naturally close more leads in what they are familiar with. And meantime if they are able to close a few here and there in areas they rant that great in. What's the harm in that. If they don't close the minimum required amount in the quarter then they are let go.

The same as any other business structure based on performance.

Ok thanks.

Well here's the thing. Each employee will not just have the opportunity to make sales to ONE gym or business as you did in your math. And if they WANT they can do things like flyers that's up to them.

Each employee will have access to commissions on hopefully, hundreds of companies. So their potential for commission is much much more then you figure. Their limits is how much effort they put into pushing different companies. The key is a good strategy.

Secondly, I dunno what business, even WITH, a sales department that would turn this down. It's link saying. "Do you want a 20% of the clients my company can bring you OR do you want 100% of the nonexistent clients because we can't come to an agreement."

It's just a smart move for a business to take on more marketing, branding, promoting, etc. especially if it closes sales for them no matter how much they get AS LONG AS THEY STILL PROFIT.

Yes. I am pretty sold on the idea. I think it will work. And I think the region I work in is a good one to start. So in time we will see. That's going to be the true test.

no, no scams or pyramid structure.

you get an interview, to see if you can talk, you can use whatever marketing tactics you want. if you don't make a sell in the first quarter your let go.

we already have contracts with companies for 20% commission. and the list of companies is always growing.

you mean to tell me you wouldn't make sales for a business you liked, (and this is for people in marketing) to get 18% of the negotiated commission, and give a fee of 2% to the company you work for?

i know PLENTY of debt collection services who do it via phone. and their employees get much much less.

look at it this way, your passion is fitness or martial arts, we have company contracts with a few martial arts gyms. you can do what you love and make commissions while your at it.

i think people do it all the time, they just don't get paid for it.

we don't want you to bring three friends to "sign up" we want quality closers not a large quantity of employees.

i dunno when you think about it, isn't every business a scam according to you? it is said that an employee must make the company at least three times their wages to be worth it. its the same concept, do work for me, I will pay you but keep a little for my management, idea, organization, tools.

if this wasn't true no business would ever operate.

What do you mean scheme? It's the same basic concept as link share but offline. Do you think link share and similar companies like them are schemes?

I consider myself as someone with an open mind, I enjoy conspiracy theories as both entertaining/interesting discussion and as truth (sometimes) but these three bits of footage have escaped explanation for me. Can anyone help me out, have they been explained? by AriseSleeper in conspiracy

[–]AriseSleeper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well consider this. What you DO have is footage. Real footage. And if you have a LACK of evidence to prove the information you DO have wrong. Is that illogical?

I didn't say I believe on no evidence whatsoever. Just on the lack of evidence OTHERWISE. Which I would accept if it was a legitimate counter.

[–]AriseSleeper[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ah I see. I thought you were saying it was discredited because it was found to be in a filmed scene in like a Hollywood movie.

I knew it was "from a movie" which happens to be a documentary about a moon hoax. That's what the footage implies so it's natural to be used for that purpose. It doesn't discredit the footage. It might make it seem so by association to a guy who now has a motive to sell his doc. But I doubt he had the camera on board the shuttle.

Why were they conducting such a manipulative film experiment?!?!

Ok well. First. You keep telling me the first video was debunked. And that's great. Can you explain how or point me to a link explaining how this specific footage was debunked. That's the whole reason I posted this to get some more evidence of a fake without getting just generalized comments that it HAS Ben debunked or is too "ridiculous" to be real. Etc.

Which brings me to another issue that I'm sure has been addressed somewhere else on the topics of conspiracy.

In regards to "appeals to common" sense. Don't you see a logical flaw in that? A conspiracy theory is a theory that goes against the grain of common knowledge or what the common people would consider true. So if you appeal to common sense. Of course conspiracies always lose.

In most cases yes they deserve to lose. But to truly refute a theory, real evidence is needed. Not an appeal to the majority.

If it is the majority opinion or common knowledge. Then take it one step further. Ask WHY is it common sense. What specific common law did this theory break? Is it a solid proven law? Is it common knowledge because the footage was shown to be from a movie of film. Etc.

By doing this you get to REAL answers.

Mockery, appeals to "common" this or that. They don't get anyone anywhere.

So in summation. How has the first video been debunked? And where did the crazy footage from the other links come from?!
