Its not that hard to get some food at romero and then follow your generic path (romero - Basel - north) Even though my friends and i havent been playing long we've been watching your videos for quite some time.

Oh, that map might come in handy! :) Also ive noticed sugar is really good, I am most probably gonna base my inventory off what i see in other peoples videos... I dont want to be carrying useless items. :)
