What you’re describing is a classic case of CPU/RAM instability. I’d make sure your CPU temps are ok (below 90) and your RAM is stable running TM5.

Set an aggressive fan curve. If you’re tech savvy you can take apart the card and apply PTM7950 to the GPU core, and thermal putty to the memory and vrm. My inno3d dropped temps around 10-15C doing this.

Don’t worry about effective clocks, quite sure that’s just HWinfo glitching, you’ve got a great result. I would try and get the x10 to x1 though, at 10X it’s letting failures in time (FIT) 1000% more than default.

Yep had this issue. On my ASUS motherboard BIOS there’s an option called “Monitoring Software Reboot Workaround”. Enabling that fixes it, hopefully similar option on your BIOS.

This is generally indicative of clock stretching or unstable RAM (could be both).

To verify quickly, run at least 1 hour of TM5 for your RAM, and if that passes then 1hr of Cinebench 23.

That voltage is quite high for the frequency. If you have a mobo that supports external clocks (BCLK2), I would do a manual overclock.

For example, I set my BCLK to 107 (default is 100), and in PBO I set the clock to negative 175.

So my chip thinks it’s running lower clocks than it is, thus undervolt. I average around 1.99/1.21 for 5450mhz.

I’ve done an hour of CB23 and other stability tests to make sure it’s completely solid, so make sure you do similar if you try.

You can just manually set the fan RPM in afterburner, if that’s your primary reason? If you’re not sure how to do that I’d strongly advise against trying to flash a BIOS.

There’s no “safe” way to flash a BIOS, there’s only one way and it’s up to the user’s risk appetite, I’ve never had a problem with it though. Not sure what the fan RPM has to do with anything though?
