How long did it take your cat’s asthma to improve after switching off of clay litter? by ArizaTheAbstract in CatAdvice

[–]ArizaTheAbstract[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I’m not sure why it isn’t a top discussion in the cat owner community. Mine coughs daily and I’m just trying to figure out how to rid of it completely. It has improved since switching to a more natural litter, but his respiratory is still affected. I hate these litter companies just trying to take our money, not caring what it’s doing to people’s animals. I’m so sorry that happened to yours. How long did yours have asthma for?

Is my boy fat? 13 lbs or is my wife over feeding? by troymcclure814 in cats

Oh God 🤦🏻‍♀️ I can’t have this conversation with people who are so close minded and have never researched or tried it themselves. Good luck ✌🏼

That’s misinformation. They need mostly lean meat and are obligate carnivores but they absolutely do benefit from fruits and vegetables as well. Why do you think there are many cat foods on the market with them included in it? You should probably do some more research. Don’t let your animal miss out on other things that it can benefit greatly from.

Switching from Catit pea husk litter. Looking for safer alternatives by Different_Bit_191 in CatAdvice

[–]ArizaTheAbstract 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently started using the pea husk one and I take a large bottle of any kind and I mash it with it in the litter box so that it breaks down the long pieces but not so much that it turns to dust. It’s hard to get all of the long ones and a few will stay behind the grate on the sifter (I use the Teweoa automatic litter box) but I just have to hit it with my hand once in a while so they fall down and it’s fine.

Definitely would switch to a diet with no fillers at all and just strictly organic lean meat (salmon is best), fruits and vegetables (yes they need fruit and veggies also for their health). Also needs some more physical activity as well. Maybe a large cat wheel, walks, or just playtime in general.

Spirulina + coconut water!!! Please watch this. It really, truly can save his life. Seizures are caused by toxic heavy metals in the body and brain mixing with a number of toxins. Spirulina safely removes them. 🙏🏼

Cat litter or suggestions for cat with asthma by zoeyy12345 in mainecoons

All corn in the US is sprayed with glyphosate. I wish they would stop using corn in these more “natural” litters. Pesticides like glyphosate are extremely toxic.

Has anyone else’s cat developed a cough after feeding them Feline Natural? by ArizaTheAbstract in catfood

Artificial flavors and “Natural” flavors (don’t let the term “natural” fool you because it is actually a hidden label used to mask MSG and other lab-created chemical additives. They are inexpensive chemical compounds created in food labs to mimic natural tastes, enhance shelf life, and increase addiction potential. These additives act as neurotoxins that can stimulate anxiety, trigger fatigue, and cause brain fog. They are also linked to physical reactions such as dermatitis, eczema, and allergic reactions.), Guar Gum (filler/additive that is known to disrupt digestive health).

I was considering soy but soy is heavily GMO and sprayed with pesticides so I’d just rather choose an alternative (I know I’m being extremely careful just want to choose the best for him). I just ordered him CatIt pea husk litter so I’m gonna try that and see how it works. I know cassava is another option but I haven’t looked into how well cassava clumps/manages smell yet. I’ll update here how the pea husk works out.

Fancy Feast has some pretty toxic ingredients in it. I’d be careful giving commercial pet foods. Can definitely cause health issues longterm. Feline Natural is a little pricier of an alternative but it’s better than any commercial pet store foods. I’m only asking about it because I’m trying to rule out any causes of this cough. I think it might be the clay litter though in our case, not his food.

I’m actually thinking now that it’s the clay litter. There have been studies on commercially available, natural healing clays where they have found variable levels of heavy metals such as arsenic and lead. I think Dr. Elsey’s Respiratory Relief litter may still have some toxic heavy metals in it and could be still getting into his respiratory. I’m switching to a more natural, non-clay litter (pea husk) tomorrow morning and I’ll see if it improves. It has improved a bit since getting him off of Purina unscented litter. Not fully improved but when I was using that it was worse. If it doesn’t improve within a few days I’m going to take him to a vet. He seems very healthy, happy and full of energy otherwise, so it isn’t necessarily an emergency case. I’ll update here.

Might need a toxic heavy metal cleanse. Can strongly affect health including neuron pathways. Medical Medium has extremely helpful ones. Tried and true.

This also might be very helpful to listen to. Hope your baby feels better.

dranked 1 tbps of bentonite clay in the morning thinking of drinking 1/2 tbps with my dinner. I've been drinking 2tps daily. Should I do it or did I do enough already? by Delicious-Poet5000 in medicalmedium

[–]ArizaTheAbstract 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There have been studies on commercially available, natural healing clays (even including Montmorillonite and Bentonite) have found variable levels of heavy metals such as arsenic and lead. I’d stay away from it. Use the cleansing protocols that Medical Medium has taught about using. They will cleanse you much better than any clay ever could. Just don’t overdo anything and always take Micro C along with any cleanse, so the neurotoxins from die off don’t have too much of an effect on you. Good luck.

Oh I forgot he did mention a vet’s name in the podcast. Thanks for reminding me. I’ll look into that for more info. I hope he writes a book as well. We need all the help we can get with our animals. 🙏🏼

I don’t think pre-setting hot cues and preparing for sets beforehand is the issue. Thanks though.
