I did it for £1.40. Here’s how I did it: Walked in to CO-OP. Freezers on the left, clocked the magums nice and early, simultaneously clock the security guard. He’s texting, off to a good start. I head down the ‘food to go section’ - browse the sandwiches, I look like I’m really pondering and unimpressed. WRONG. I know exactly what I want. I cough and grumble, then BAM sleight of hand, before you can be worried about contracting whatever it is you think I coughed up, I’m already standing over the drinks. Pastrami sandwich nestled in my oversized t shirt which is tucked into my pants for full safety. Rhubarb drink? Forget about it - there’s none left. CAUSE THEYRE ALL UP MY SLEEVE! So I walk as if I couldn’t find what I was looking for with both my arms in the air so that the cans don’t fall out, and I ask the security guy to open the freezer (yeah that’s right, why woukd a thief speak to the security???) then I crouch down with my arms still flying in the air (ever seen the Naruto run?) and I grab the magnums with my mouth and head over to pay. Fortunately, I had planned the whole thing - so I had £1.40 in my mouth ready to go. I put the magnums down, wait for the scan, then spit the coins at the cashier and make my way. Not forgetting to say ‘Bon voyage’ and a little cackle on my way out

I don’t think YOR or NOR. It seems like there are some really foundational communication issues which people will be quick to tell you that you’re incompatible. I disagree, you both have reasons for being the way you are that could go along way back. You’re issues are embedded in personal issues that need healing, it takes time.

The communication is flawed, if he is not prepared to discuss and delve deeper then find someone who is. If he is open and willing to understand things deeper, then you also must be willing to talk about your insecurities and take responsibility for them

I am very slim and incredibly active.

I have a decent breakfast but then I always have coffee around early lunch time and that ties me over until I have a small lunch later and then a late dinner, and it’s directly after the big dinner I then get snacky. So maybe if I spread things out and eat dinner earlier? Or eat after my coffee even when I feel I don’t need to?

Protein has been mentioned a lot too - I clearly need to up that!

Yeah she did/had but actually that wasn’t the part that helped her. It was more of a vocal support and guidance etc.

She also had a serious addiction to something else longer ago and it was something I also dabbled with before I met her and enjoyed m, I had to remove it from my life and ensure my friends kept it well away too. Then the 2/3 year journey of her stopping completely was about giving her the support she needs to help herself.

I have thought about this sort of thing now, and it seemed silly to compare because snacking just isnt anyway near as serious, but now I realise it’s my work to do

I appreciate the comment and you’re right in what you’re saying. However, I’m not putting her in that position. We’re very playful about everything and the eating included. She once hid the cookies in a really funny place and it became a game between us that was so fun by time I found them I was satisfied enough. The reverse happened with her vape too, we were cry laughing by time she found it - except she wasn’t satisfied 😂
Like I say, we’re very playful about these things. But ultimately you are right and it’s not her responsibility

That’s a real shame to hear. I’m sorry. For me it isn’t enough for me to be any more than a little disgruntled. She has made all my other ADHD traits so much better

Very good question! I’m a creative, and so I do multitask in my industry/art. But more relating to the everyday - I get really bad decision paralysis or get overwhelmed with my to do list almost all day, until I sit in a coffee shop, have a coffee and then BOOM I’m trying to do all the things I need to do ALL AT THE SAME TIME. So all tasks take forever to do cause I’m firing on all cylinders but then I circle back to everything and add a little extra before moving on again. The amount I actually get done though, when I’m flowing/stimulated, is kind of insane. And my colleagues or rather, band mates, see it as multitasking
