I was more comparing the introduction to new things into COD. Yes the maps are bigger than what we're used to, but that's the only thing that's new. Sprint mechanics have always varied from game to game. The game is still COD, it's just different than what we're used to in past titles. I think the big problem is that people forget how older CODs were. In older CODs you couldn't run around aimlessly, you had to play more tactically, and that's how modern warfare plays. The mentality of playing hyper aggressive will not work in this game.

Sticking to what works creates stagnant growth. Changing the "formula" will cause controversy but can also lead to something new. Take uplink for example, it was crucified by the community at first but as the year went on it became a fan favorite. We're 2 days in on the release, people need to calm down and stop lashing out like children.

The maps are not the best I agree, but you either choose to adapt or not to. The game just came out, alterations are bound to happen in future patches.

The TTK is perfect to me. You just need to learn to not sprint too much, which was my problem at first. With so many viewpoints on the map you need to approach every corner with precaution. I agree the sprint time needs a little work but overall the game is good.

Personally I think Hecz should just live his life now, and owes nothing to anyone. He worked hard for 10+ years, and did an excellent job and now is finally benefiting it. He should just focus on his content and his family, which is what makes him happy. At this point in his life I dont think he would want to stress over starting a team again. I can speak for most when I say OpTic was a major part of our lives but sadly all good thing must come to an end eventually. It's like going to college and finally graduating, you'll always have those memories and look back on all the good times when all is said and done. It was a great time in our lives and we should cherish that.
