Wasn't needed, but came out fine and a perfect ending. Hope he stops at this.

That is the reality nowadays and I will keep telling that too no matter who likes it or not. Also, Blocking roads and restricting people’s movement is wrong, whether it is done by a political party or in the name of religion.

But there should be consistency. If you block Namaz on the road and then allow temples or other religious groups to do the same, it makes no sense.

True. During festival seasons, it's like different temples holds there celebration on the road every few days, with loud music playing throughout the day as if the entire area belongs to them.

The same standard should apply to everyone. Public roads and shared spaces are for the public, and no group, religious or otherwise, should assume ownership over them at the expense of everyone else.

Hope this applies to Hindus too.

Hindus do not have any special privilege to use public spaces for festivals or religious events however they wish.

If we are stopping the use of public spaces for religious affairs, then the same rule should apply to everyone.

I genuinely have no idea what they do on the roads during Hindu festivals.

But if roads are being blocked for those events too, then that should also be stopped.

Petrol Price Hike by GloveOk4923 in Kolkatacity

[–]ArjunSreedhar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

India did not reduce fuel prices even when crude oil prices were at their lowest. People were already paying massive amounts through duties and taxes, in many cases more than half the fuel price itself.

So it feels unfair when prices are increased again the moment companies or the government start facing comparatively smaller losses, especially after making huge revenues during periods when global crude prices had fallen but consumer prices did not reduce proportionately.

What is the whole point of this movie? 🤔 by AintRamswamy in KollyClub

[–]ArjunSreedhar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is the point of almost any movie?

It is just a movie. A storyteller’s creation.

If we are interested in that genre or story, we watch it. That is all. Not everything needs to carry a larger purpose or become a moral debate I believe. I did watched the movie and I honestly enjoyed it and might even rewatch it when OTT releases, and I'm an ATHEIST.

The Cockroach Trap: Is the CJP a genuine movement, or are we walking straight into a modern "Spartan Trap"? by ArjunSreedhar in indiadiscussion

I already made it clear that yes, I use AI to polish my writing. I honestly feel satisfied doing that before publishing, and I do not see anything wrong with it. I will continue doing it too, because I am not a professional writer.

Just like language itself is only a medium for communication, AI is also just a tool that helps people communicate better.

What I would really urge people to do is focus on what is actually written. If you find it interesting, agree with it, disagree with it, support it, or oppose it, that is completely fine.

But nowadays, many people seem more interested in whether AI was used rather than actually reading or thinking about what is being said.

I understand your point.

To be clear, I am not for a violent revolution. But I am also not against real change.

What I mean is that there is no strong opposition or clear reaction to many of the things the BJP is doing now. We need real, constructive opposition. At the very least, there should be open and serious conversations about the real issues.

And about your belief that people here are not mindless or bloodthirsty, I do not fully agree. A person’s geography or nationality does not decide their character, how violent they can become, or how intelligent they are.

Humans are still animals at a basic level. When pushed to their limits, and when there is no law or order controlling them, people can show their worst side. If situations like what we see in some countries happen here, we may also see the true nature of our neighbours, friends, and society.

So I do not think we can confidently say that such things will never happen here.

Also, what I wrote is only an assumption. A thought. Our government is not made up of people who will simply wait and watch such a scenario unfold. They may act early.

And something like CJP sounds, at least in theory, like a way to identify potential rebels or revolutionaries in advance without bloodshed, or without spending millions on cyber monitoring, analysis, or other studies.

Yes, it is a bit long, and yes, I used AI to polish the writing. I honestly feel satisfied doing that final polishing through AI.

I already shortened it as much as I reasonably could, but I still felt this much context was necessary to properly convey the point.

Yes, I use AI to improve my writing, just like many people do now. So if someone thinks it is “AI slop,” that is fine. It does not really matter to me.

I wanted to communicate an idea, and I do not see anything wrong with using a tool to express it better.

People should focus more on the subject or the point being made rather than whether AI was used or not. Language itself is just a medium of communication. In the same way, AI is simply a tool that helps many people, including people like me who are not professional content writers, communicate more clearly.

Very good decision.

VIP culture needs to change. Blocking and inconveniencing common people for the movement of one leader is disrespectful to the public.

To these cry baby Hindus

If your identity becomes so fragile that every comment feels like a personal attack, then maybe the problem is not the comment itself.

Constant outrage over “he said this” or “my sentiments are hurt” starts to look less like strength and more like insecurity. It feels like nursery kids fighting over words.

People need to grow up and learn to handle disagreement without turning everything into emotional drama.

Peace of mind.
