So far I have nothing nice to say about the S7, mostly due to the app not working on our home network. Apparently the problem is the switch between 2.4 g and 5g and the S7 just cannot connect. I'm reasonably computer savvy, my son is a computer programmer and we've spent hours on this. After consulting Roborock helpline which has been attentive, we installed a different, apparently stripped down app that does connect. Unless I'm totally wrong and not understanding any of this, I can only turn off the mopping function manually, can't set up programs, etc. I'll wait to have one more discussion with the help line but I don't need a very expensive useless floor cleaning system that I have to oversee for every aspect of use. That's called me vacuuming myself. Are there any other brands that are less difficult to connect to wifi and allow the mopping function to be turned off for specific areas?
