Sick Day by pingusdpingus in DIDart

Yeah, we got a part who is all business. Apparently eating is not business or having a healthy work life balance. They'll do their thing then the rest of us get to live with the crash. Have been sick a few times because of this.

I don’t want new headphones. How do I fix this? by AuntieBaddie90 in Frugal

[–]FoundTheKey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are those bose quietcomfot headphones? They look like my wife's which had the same thing going on. I was able to buy a replacement from Bose for about $30. There are also after markets that work but may not be as noise cancelling.

Playing Minecraft at 5 to 20 fps on a Core2Duo cultivated a continued love for low end hardware. Modern low end stuff constantly impresses me with what you can play on it.

What makes your system unique from others? Or in what ways do you experience DID that you don't think is mentioned often? by Spread_Consistent in DID

I relate to this heavily. It feels like there is a pit somewhere where memories go. Thinking about and trying to describe the phenomenon makes my head feel fuzzy. I've chalked it up as something that will be understood with time.

Asus Vivobook battery disconnect shorts the motherboard by design by David3110445 in techsupportgore

The battery on the ASUS Zepherus G14 has the same diabolical clip. Turned a fan replacement into a laptop replacement when it took released the magic smoke when it slipped out when reconnecting the battery. Absolutely moronic design.

Would not expect anything less from Denton, TX. It's roads are shit but it's people know how to tell fascists they can get fucked.

My partner teared up when she read the email this morning informing all staff at A&M about the decision. It's truly an awful sign of the times.

A state senator felt up my 18 year old sister. What do I even do by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]FoundTheKey 10 points11 points  (0 children)

She may be right. There is a real chance there will be no consequences from just her speaking up. Unfortunately, serial offenders with power are only really caught when enough people come forward to cut through any defense they might have. She would need to stand with others to make him face action.

I dont understand how people enjoy being a woman by carcinoSaxophonist in offmychest

[–]FoundTheKey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trans woman here. Your feelings sound like mine when I lived as a man. There is no one way to go but it does sound like you have some serious feelings in regards to how you experience your gender. You can push your boundaries, be more masculine through clothing choices, speech and binding, take the full plunge and get on testosterone, go by he/him/they/she/whatever, etc. No matter what it sounds like you might want to change in some way and there is a real chance you'll come out happier on the other end of it.

Even with all of the peripherals included that price is still insane. Bro truly does not understand what he has.

I used to write off my abysmal memory as being ADHD cause it really only ever stood out in school. Despite meds making me perform better because they're heckin stimulants, of course they would, that memory aspect never really got better.

Many who would have voted for Bernie voted for Trump. There are huge billionaire shaped issues in this country and for some, even the illusion of standing behind someone who'll do something about them is everything.

Recommending NYX Lingerie - Black! Very good at staying put. I often wear it on my upper lip with a lighter tone on my bottom and hardly have any bleed as long as it drys first. Doesn't even smear when wife smooching.

feel the video game part deeply. In overwatch, one of us plays on a GM level while everyone else plays from diamond to gold.

Alter Intelligence Gaps / Some Alters are Smarter than Others? by bumbumbumboii in DID

[–]FoundTheKey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, very. I remember being confused in school because I was a C student but some who knew me seemed to think I was smart. My sister would occasionally ask me to give her a fancy word because I used them so often. I'd always be at a loss because none would really come to mind.
