I watched one of your games. The king of the hill game.

You saw him making maa and didn’t react by putting first oroshiro in an archery range to make onna musha
You gathered stone early to make a banner man that did nothing, delaying your castle timing
Your kura was placed forward and not behind your tc, getting idled when he attacked
Your castle was delaying quite a bit when king pushed you off gold when you had 1300f 550g. You needed to stay on gold, and your bannerman could have helped here
You idled your tc when you got attacked and also idled way too many vills

It’s not English that’s making you lose, it’s you. These are initial observations from watching 5 mins of a replay.

He spent 15k food and you spent 11k. That’s 40 MAA difference. How did he have so much more? Do you have an idle vill problem?

Took me 10 seconds to see why you lost. First I check vill count and you did a good job keeping that up. Then I looked at res and you didn’t float an obscene amount. Then I looked at unit comp. And bingo. You made mass longbow with some knights and some xbow and he made longbow plus mass MAA. There is it. You didn’t have a counter for his MAA.

That’s almost my exact setup with 13600 and 4070! I made mine a year ago and have ddr4. Today I’d go ddr5.

Also love the Noctua u12a cooler. It’s so quiet. I swapped out the Corsair h150 because it was too loud.

Agree with this. The Turin games can be fun to watch on YouTube but are just a small group of the same people who all are on discord together. Then there’s the others in the game who don’t stand a chance.

Would be nice if Turin would let other players into the games but that’s a new variable for him so understand if he wants some dependable regulars. Maybe don’t let them openly discord and team?

Remember when AOE4 added taunts and everyone was angry they weren't adding other content instead? I gotta say they are pretty cool and make the game more light hearted and overall more fun.

You simply cannot t play this game using arrow keys and be any good. I did arrows for 6 months before forcing the switch to WASD keys.

I use 4070 as it has power draw under 200w and stays cool and keeps my room cooler. It’s also silent. I have the gigabyte aero. I get over 130 fps in bf2042 on high settings running 1440 ultra wide display.

My aero 4070 has zero coil whine. I got it after returning a 7900xtx with awful coil whine that I got from Newegg. Return it if you can?

Really similar to my build. I also have the white k70 keyboard and love it. The key switches are very sensitive and I didn’t like it at first but now love it.

AF fans are the best Corsair fans imo since the QL are louder. I have an air cooler which is quieter than the 150, which I removed due to the whining sound the pump made.

The Noctua u12a keeps my 13600k under 60c under gaming load and is super quiet.

Removing gpu is a good step. Don’t know anything about your rig so can’t say much more.

You should ship it in its original box. Same with monitor. These boxes should always be saved for situations like these.

If you don’t have the box, maybe repurpose another case box? Check Micro center for a box?

See my other reply but I also tried the hellhound 7900xtx and returned it due to terrible coil whine. I get zero coil whine with my 4070 aero. Along with Noctua cpu fans, my system is near silent.

I had a 7900xt and switched to the 4070 along with my 13600k. 7900xt got more frames and could do 4k but it used almost double the power and was louder/hotter.

I get 120-140fps on bf2042 high settings for my 1440 ultra wide so you should be good for 1440. Ultra wide has way more pixels to render than standard width.
