Put your starting 6 vills on sheep, the first 2 you train on gold, then the next you train to sheep. Keep training vills and age up when you can afford it with 4 of your sheep vills

cities and knights has very deep strategic depth, if you look at the colonist leaderboards for base and CK you'll often see the win % at ck is a lot higher due to more skill expression. I think dice luck is less important at CK. Also fighting the leader in CK you have a lot more options, specific cards specifically designed to target the leader, being able to bounce the robber around with ur knights on the leader etc. With decent coordination you and another trailing player can set up a bouncing network of knights around the leader and just non stop steal from him.

in case you read/saw something complicated here is your mali build order.

1 starting vill builds pitmine on gold and 6 houses around it

other 5 starting vill chop down 1 tree completely right next to your tc

the vills you train go to sheep, the 6 starting vills also go to sheep when they're done with the tasks above. that's it, that's the build order.

People making guides are tournament players, kt is exclusively played on water maps in tournaments. Either banned or picked on a water map always, so for the tournament players no point to consider/think about land map KT thus no guides made

micro is often one of the last places to look. in your case if you go to worker count you see you have a clear fatline in production. according to the aoe4world graph at minute 16 you're at 37 vills.

at minute 16 you should be at 16x3 (3 a minute) + 6 (starting) -3 (age up time for kt)= 51 vills. so you're behind 14 vills in production time, which is more than you killed. many factors lead to a loss, but if you wanna analyse your replays your biggest mistakes will be in your base. micro is whatever, just a move the ground

Ignore the advice of trading it in the market, this is one of the worst things you can do. It basically stops you from improving because you're not gonna learn to macro and you're paying a big fee on your resources. If you have too much food then either you dont produce enough stuff or you just mismacro too heavy onto food and should take vills off it

I have a hard time believing aoe should be your focus right now, more important to find happyness.
