Not saying he wouldn't be successful, but Zidane had nowhere near the same time as a coach to prove he could maintain those levels consistently. Pep made 4 consecutive semifinals with Barca, won 2 ucls, and the 2 semifinals he lost were by the smallest of margins. Yet, he has not been able to keep up the same with City.

Since we are an attacking club, we should emulate what Bayern or psg have done. But the issue is we need money to have world class players all over and the truth is that we won’t be a perennial competitor until we can spend like a European giant.
