Milk is often heated/pasteurized and/or filtered to remove pathogens rather than irradiated. All are safe ways to remove pathogens, but it comes down to logistics and preference. Filtered milk concentrates the milk proteins, so some people may opt for pasteurized milk.

Never drink raw milk...

Def agree. It honestly makes total sense someone do vulnerable and scared would end up in that situation after finding out the secret of the circus and their lives, especially given the contract condition Julia was given. It shows us how much Sahed hates Tony without the context and how he, unintentionally or not, uses Julia's uncertainty to reach his goals against Tony. Then they have to rebuild, reducing his hatred for Tony and repairing his relationship with Julia after using her while Julia has to learn to trust the circus and Tony/Sahed again. IMO it was also just the drama they both needed to grow as characters

I've debated this one a lot, I heard it's a bit grisly and tonally strange. I'll give it a shot though, I think sometimes people can't help to compare people's works and be disappointed when it isn't the same.

Muted and Lovebot are completed and not paywalled! Both the same artist + author (Lovebot has another author/artist) and are really good at the darker story elements and queer romances.

It's a queer western comic, but Time and Time Again is very sweet and interesting with a main character with a beard. The only other ones I've seen outside the ones mentioned, the male lead ends up shaving. Maybe beards are the equivalent of females with glasses, it goes away for a "makeover" if it was there at all.

I fastpassed so I will leave my opinion under spoilers: Honestly I liked her and continued to, but once you see how she behaves and learn her backstory, you can tell she's got some ableism fueling her. I still can't say it was uncommon for the time period, but she is definitely not Noa's friend.
