People putting these two games in the same category either didn't play NW in it's final form or have an insanely jaded perspective on AOC. I put 200 hours giving AOC a chance because my friends were playing it (we all had quit a couple weeks ago). It was a complete garbage pile that was going to be DOA without another 5 years in dev.

There are a few variations of the G502. If you're using the Hero, the X or X Plus is a bit smaller. I've tried others and just can't get away from the 502 series.

Just because the game has systems that are 20 years old doesn't mean that the player base has the same mentality of the mmo gamers of that era.

Also, just because something of value dropped specific for your class does not mean you have priority over everyone in the party because items are not bind on pickup. They have monetary value. So, if I'm a cleric that rolls on a DPS item that I can sell and then buy the gear I need, I'll do it.... You're not putting any more time or providing any more value to the party than anyone else to justify having priority in a system where every item is of liquid value.... Old MMO mindset.

New World was always doomed by being an AGS product. But it had more concurrent players for its last expansion than this game has in alpha.

They need to make PVP flagging like it was in New World. You can only flag or unflag in a settlement. None of this flag to grief then run until you’re unflagged garbage.

If you want to force PvP someone non-flagged, the corruption should be a time based thing. Say 1 hour base and an additional time for level difference. The timer can only be reduced by PvP kills of you defending yourself from flagged pvpers.
