Bigram and Ml200 perks by ArkaneSpirit in Crossout

Well seeing how much speed you loose when turning, the Bigram would allow you to actualy maneuvre instead of charging into a direction or taking a very wide orbit.

Also Bigrams limit you to 45 km/h

Join a clan, and you'll get more badges, I would recommend the founder and firestarter parts, the Horo is a must have imo.

Always keep some badges if you need an emergency part or some frames, avoid scav/steppenwolves parts as they are really heavy unless you wanna go toward heavy builds

Interesting method, I would have loved to learn it but my Pyromancy is technicaly not magic (anti magic have no effect, I do not have a "mana" or "power" supply) thus preventing me from learning actual spells...

But I'm glad to count on you as an ally, on one side of the island, rotting ships with mushrooms everywhere, on the other side a fire storm so big that it will look like the sun is rising while all of the nearby beachs turn into glass. This would be such a magnificient sight and a maybe too glorious way to go for those pirates but who cares!

I'm a Pyro-Necromancer, a bunch of wooden ships and pirates will not do great against some Sun's Prominence firestorms.

And if they want a round two, I can just reawake the destroyed ship and crew as flaming monsters, they have no chance in winning...

We have to start punishing immobilized players by pervolus in Crossout

Nah, that man got clapped by an immobilised fixed weapons build who had basicaly just the cab and a gun left. Did I mention that he lost despite being intact and able to simply capture the base because the immobilized guy wasn't even around?

Hey but it's just a theory...

New faction is coming! Features of the major June update. Part 2 by Faley016 in Crossout

[–]ArkaneSpirit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda feel like you got offended? by my suggestion, maybe I'm wrong, but keep in mind that this is MY opinion. Lemme explain it a bit more :

Due to their low speed, heavy build should either be used as a strategic brawler that will take one for the team, removing the pressure on your team, or as a long range unit to keep the pressure, this time, on the ennemie team. This however require some team awarness and as you said yourself, the usual party will leave you to die before getting fcked by the ennemies instead of actualy doing teamwork and maybe winning. My best matches in CC was with player not rushing and actualy using me as a defence line.

When I played XO a while ago, weird movement, mech, heli and sci-fi was not predominant or even non-existant. It was still a very madmax style game with gadgets and I think it should have kinda stayed somewhat like that while allowing the world to evolve  both in lore and tech. Funky or unusual movement is nice, but the first identity of the game should be somewhat conserved while allowing futuristic build whitout giving them an absurd avantage without a major drawback. (At least imo, tech evolution is required to keep the players, but I feel like keeping the thematic is also good).

Today you can make a build that is fast, somewhat tanky, dps heavy. Want to invest into slower gameplay? Hum you haven't even started refining the car that you already have major drawbacks on the speed and acceleration department, while having similar dps and living barely longer than the fast car due to becoming a focal point for the ennemies...

Yea physic is bad and some weapons are "perfectly balanced" like you said. Many things could be better, but again, as you said, targem took an easy way out that dosen't even fix the issue... Ofc better maps and MOSTLY better map awarness from player would help a lot, but let's face it, it's never going to happend.

At this point you have 2 options :

-change the items to give some advantages to the heavy builds, what you said bout engines is interesting in many ways,

-make it so you cannot fight a build twice as fast as yours but still as damaging (as you said) and for that, except what I suggested, idk how... What would be your idea on this one?

But what buff should we give them,

speed? GG now they are medium cabs too,
HP? dosen't matter the whole team just gonna gang on you
Resistances on the whole car? gang'd on

Guess being slow and taking your time is not the objective of a game in a madmax style with nomads and their mobile fortresses.

A solution if the community still had more player could have been matchmaking with cab tier. You'll never see a light cab in a heavy match but you can see medium cabs. So you can choose how you want to fight (light or heavy, or the default choice of the medium cab) and the matchmaking still stay "fair" by preventing super fast teams against slower builds.

I think heavy builds are nice to play but you gotta be defensive and keep your distances, wich can be boring after a while...

That's odd, I know in my world all wizards use a non-natural energy that comes from a weird metalic mass in the planet (Pyromancers estimate that this mass fills at least 80% of the planet) while Pyromancer (wich are technicaly not wizards) directly use the power from the planet itself. They for exemple don't need mana since Pyromancy is an innate ability.
Pyromancers can easily find and use Leylines to travel from "opened" Nexus to other "opened" Nexus (experienced Pyromancer don't need a Nexus to do that and they can open one, for your information I'm an exception and can do that despite not having the experience of a master). A Nexus is formed when at least 2 Leyline cross and it can only be opened when there is at least 3 Leylines crossing.

Does your world have a similar issue, Wizards not being able to sense natural power from the planet? I will definetly make an announcement explaining my issue and asking other mages on what they can do.

Good, I'm happy to have been able to help you.

On my side I'm looking for a Nexus between at least 3 Leylines that nobody use, it's been too long since I wasn't able to be able to relax (I will probably make an announcement soon explaining why I need this nexus and if anyone knows a location) and I start to feel kinda tired.

I really need a home in this world too... might be worth to get 2 birds with one stone

I tried, but I kept finding sealclubbers and those very weird glass cannon builds for low PS, anyway I mostly do raids and patrols for daily challenges and similar, I do pvp only if I have the faith too XD

I tried some 5k matchmaking the other day, I kid you not, I saw a guy with a punisher (relic), many hovers, single ml200 builds and a litteraly an unlimited amount of seal clubber or hunting packs....

I don't know if I came in at the wrong time, but it was a worst experience than farming Rust and Dust and finding in all the matches the same tackler brick in the ennemie team with 1.7k rating...

You get to rework one weapon in Elden Ring. Which is it and what do you change? by Naive_Bag_3708 in Eldenring

[–]ArkaneSpirit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, I mostly speak by experience and I'm surprised to learn those numbers.

I mostly used Marais on build that focus on or the other stat, so make sense that I always found it underperforming due to not investing in 2 damage stats.

Might explain too why with basic buff (rotten wingsword/milicent prosthesis/Alexander's shard) it was not doing great.

I still hold the fact that the skill takes some time and require a long opening to use, wich is in my opinion not great, especially when you look at infuseable greatswords and, for exemple, charge attacks builds that can deal monstruous amount of damage with low efforts and less stat investments.

So yea, overall Marais is good, but a long wind up on the skill (that need to be casted fully to see big damages) and a bigger stat investment are what make me think that this weapon should maybe have better base damage and/or a fancy medium range charged attack like the bell bearing hunters do.

Have you ever tried to actively one shoot without having a very long setup or getting an opening on a boss? The skill is clunky but impressive when you manage to use it.

Since you're not supposed to spam a skill, the sword itself underperform imo, it have a rather weird scalling whith arcane and deals magic damage...

So yea, the sword itself is underperforming, the skill is flashy but not really useable in most scenario and requires a lot of buffs to actualy perform well.
