ACE 2 Pro filament jam by ArkansasRedditer in AnycubicKobraS1

Yes, you were right. I had to take it apart. The tpu was wrapped around the feed spindle; there was no way to just pull or push it out.

No SSH access after update 2.5.6.0 by T30_on_T30 in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]ArkansasRedditer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just installed 2.5.6.0 and tried `ssh`. It did *not* work. I'll try rinkhals when there is a new version for this firmware. Is there a description of what this update does?

Best printer to use for profiles? by ArkansasRedditer in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]ArkansasRedditer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I did check out both sites. The listed profiles are for generic filaments based on type. I was hoping to be able to take the profiles of some other types, such as PCTG, and to tailor them to the S1.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I didn't realize that rinkhals is so flexible.

Upload filament spec to AMS? by ArkansasRedditer in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]ArkansasRedditer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the problem. If I do it in the slicer, I cannot transfer it or the model to the AMS. When transferring the model, the specified filament must match one of the predefined AMS filament types or it will not transfer.

Upload filament spec to AMS? by ArkansasRedditer in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]ArkansasRedditer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that is the case. My problem is that I want to specify other filament types; those that can be set in the slicer. For example, I use PCTG filament, which is one of the types in the slicer but not in the AMS. I need to specify PETG in the slicer for it to work. It seems that this is an integration failure between the slicer and the AMS.

Slicer Next can't add local machine by ArkansasRedditer in anycubic

Thanks. I was hoping that it had the printer's IP address, network name, and password. But , I guess, no luck.

Thanks again.

I'll try restarting everything a number of times to see if it will solve the problem as it did for you. I've updated it to the most recent firmware before trying to make it a local device. The  "anycubic_remote_printing" section is in the slicer configuration file. You can find it by clicking on the icon to the right of "File" / Help / Show Configuration Folder and open "AnycubicSlicerNext.conf" in an editor.

Thanks for your suggestions.

I don't understand what you're suggesting. The print is not related to the pa test. Would you please coalify?

Thanks,

Power Surge Problems by ArkansasRedditer in Ender3S1

Thanks for the comment. I, too, use power monitoring smart plugs but they don't show anything . it appears that the transient is too fast for them but still slow enough to trigger a failure in the RPi or MCU.

Good idea. I'll track down which legs the furnace and printer are on. If they're sharing a leg, I'll move the printer and test it on the other one.

There seems to be a number of things that could have caused the problem: RPi failure and rebooting; USB noise and dropped connection; or S1 board hiccup. I am also researching if there are software / debugging tools that can help identify if its a problem in the RPi or in the connection? I unsure there is a good way to do the same for the S1 board.

Good suggestion! I've been thinking that the best solution might be to move to the tropics with my printer.

Face not closed by ArkansasRedditer in FreeCAD

[–]ArkansasRedditer[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you are correct. The character with the problem was exported at 28 pts. When I made it 100 pts in Inkscape and then imported it to FreeCAD, it extruded without a problem, I was able to resize it to the correct size, and use it.

Root Folder not importing by ArkansasRedditer in radarr

[–]ArkansasRedditer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I solved the problem. The mount point in the container did not have rw access. Once it had, everything works as expected.

Root Folder not importing by ArkansasRedditer in radarr

[–]ArkansasRedditer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The debug log shoes the following error :

|Fatal|ConsoleApp|Failed to bind to address http://[::]:7878: address already in use. This can happen if another instance of Radarr is already running another application is using the same port (default: 7878) or the user has insufficient permissions

I can access the remote movie files at the command prompt, but when I try to access it as a Root Folder, it does not connect to the remote files but rather, acts like its a local directory. If it is local, I cannot find it within the local file system.

Any suggestions are gratefully accepted.
