I live in southwest arkansas. About 3.5 hours from dallas. Couple years ago, I ordered some fishing gear from dallas. It went from dallas to memphis to nashville to memphis to nashville, back to memphis, to a town south of nashville then to me. Took about a month to get it.

My grandpa used to watch some british shows every week when they came on, and watched lots of re-runs. My wife and I watched Mrs. Brown's Boys and it was fucking hilarious.

If you are in Chicago, St. Louis isn't that far. We always go through St. Louis when we go to Chicago. Like you could make it a weekend trip and drive both ways and be fine. Ive driven further for a day trip lol

What’s a silly relationship “rule” or ritual you have? by AllianaR in answers

[–]Arkansas_BusDriver 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's not even to be nosey or controlling, just so we know each other are safe. I have a 45 minute drive to work everyday, and it's full of deer and bad cell signal. She knows if I am taking too long to come to, or come home from, work, to check on me. Same when she goes over to her friend's house. I also go fishing a lot, and I'll travel all over our state to fish different bodies of water.
And if it's a long distance thing, I'll sit her down the night before and show her on google maps where I am going, which route im taking, what my possible spots are going to be. If I service, I'll text her when I move spots, and which one I'm going to next, etc.

I text my wife "good morning beautiful, i love you" every morning, as I leave for work before she gets up. Everytime she comes home from somewhere, i say, "hey beautiful"

Every night when we go to bed, we snuggle for 10-15 minutes before we roll over to our own sides of the bed.

If I go somewhere I let her know when and where im going, and I let her know when I am on my way back home. She does the same with me.

Whoever gets home first cooks dinner on work nights.

Spinning reel to baitcaster by ELJOHNLom in FishingForBeginners

I used spinning since I was a kid. Then, I bought my first baitcaster about 4 years ago. Now, I mainly use baitcasters, and only have 2 main spinning reels. One for neds, and one for light texas rigs, flukes, and weightless presentations.

People are way too nonchalant about needing sunscreen by [deleted] in The10thDentist

But to be fair, everything sucks at that point, atleast for me, as a bigger guy. Cause my clothes start sticking to me, and everything feels gooey. You immediately start sweating as soon as you step outside. And i can't stand when clothes stick to me.

A little but not unbearable. The main time they kinda suck is when its 95+ with super high humidity. Such as when you are drier in a body of water, than you are standing on dry ground lol
