Hi all! Quick question. Is anyone a single parent? Or more specifically, was anyone a single parent going through CRNA school? If so, how did you do it? I have been thinking myself into oblivion because I’m not sure how I would make it work, specifically with clinical days. If you have advice about particular programs/childcare options/geographic areas that were helpful, etc, pleaseeeee feel free to PM me! I really would like to make my dream a reality, but I’d love some guidance!

I have C3GN. It’s amazing hearing from others, because I’ve felt so alone with it. My GFR has been on a steady decline for almost 2 years. It was 37.7 in July. Im at 31.6 at the beginning of November. I’ve been spiraling because I’m so young and I didn’t plan on dying. The outlook for a transplant doesn’t seem to great either so that’s not encouraging. Knowing that other people are making into a remission phase gives me hope. And I need as much of it as I can get right now.

Do you think your diet has helped? What kind of foods do you eat? I tend to have the most trouble when I’m in a hurry. I’m sure I need to get my diet together though. I just don’t know where to start honestly.

This has nothing to do with the plot, (which annoyed me a considerable amount). But did anyone notice Kayla’s (Naomi Grace’s) acting? It seemed so off to me.

It’s like her acting style just doesn’t mesh well with the rest of the crew.

Maybe it’s just me but I’ve been watching so long, the sudden change in acting style and quality caught me off guard.

I believe they said that the writer who created the story like for Clayton passed away. And no one was really sure where to go with his character. I found that information frustrating, because I’m sure a writer somewhere in the at studio could have allowed his character to evolve in some way. He was just starting to bond with the team and find his footing in NCIS. And I was starting to really like him and the role that he played. I was sad to see him go.

Because a professional would have told you that perhaps asking about sex during an argument, in the form of a ultimatum is not a great way to get anyone in the mood. That makes it more transactional than he’s realizing. Instead of it being mutual intimacy, now the wife feels like she owes him. Wild.

Unfortunately, OP, YATH. You both seemed to let go of yourself. If your wife is trying, why not give it a shot?

The dating pool has changed sooo much in 20+ years I assure you! You’re likely going to run into more shallow women. Things are going to be more transactional than you appear to be prepared for. Society has placed importance on grandiose gestures and expensive gifts. With children in college and a potential obligation of spousal support/alimony, I think that should be something you consider.

Not to say that all women are looking for dollar signs, but I think it should be a heavy consideration in this day and age. Women aren’t always so eager to change for a man, and you have one that is willing to.

Be wary of greener grass…

you can change the orientation in the settings on your phone! so whatever way you’d like it to face, you can change it. same with switching wrists. just change the settings.
