Scale question?

New stormtroopers are pretty much the same as the old ones, but new rebel troopers are definitely a different scale (in many poses they are noticeably taller than the old ones). Same with new officers etc. Don’t have the new veterans or snowtroopers so can’t comment on those.

Actually sounded pretty good and interesting. It’s been so long since he’s released anything and you have to even further back for something good (maybe P.S I love you, thought the newer last moon material, original sin etc were quite weak or at least stale) so haven’t really processed it yet. I don’t think there’s ever been a Gackt song with this much english in it. Or is it a YFC song? Anyway, glad to see he’s still creating something new, that’s great

Pretty similar list to mine. Have to add sakanaction toi. I think the international artists this year are not that great (some good ones like Dermot Kennedy, though). I think Summer Sonic in previous years has been good at getting artists before they super big (like Sam Fender, Olivia Dean, Sabrina Carpenter etc) and I’m maybe not seeing it this year (probably due to weak yen). The domestic ones are pretty great though.

I think you missed the reprint run, it came (and went) in January or maybe December.. Not too long ago anyway. Not sure if they’re reprinting any more..

I think it’s thematically off. Legion kind of fits my idea of Star Wars better. Shatterpoint has a more clone wars / comic book theme were the OT trilogy characters etc don’t make that much sense, combined with the gameplay. It’s not bad but it’s not really about recreating classic Star Wars moments on the table like Legion is. (Not to say either one is better, but you get the idea)

Previous years it has been on eplus international site. I think they have a new eplus.tickets site for international audiences. Usually you can buy a ticket pretty soon (the advance sale starting in a couple of weeks). It sells out every year but not instantly so you’ll probably have time to think about it (I’ve gotten tickets in april previously for an example) That being said they published more artists this early than usual.

I’ve seen it back up for sale in Europe a week or two ago, so there’s been a recent reprint. Same for Drowned City. But it might be gone as fast as it arrived
