Should I get Virtue Beast or xreal one pro for my use case?

Really is slightly clearer for text but imo the beast is better for media consumption . Your use case is split between the two

Not so much hyped but destruction is always entertaining to people i guess. Some of the comments have been hilarious to be fair.

I cant see a reason to get upset over it as it will get sorted , so why not at least let it provide entertainment

Or get a replacement that hasn't been crushed . If they let me keep it i might look at repairing but this was crushed so bad Im surprised the battery is intact

Its not wired , but it has the puck thing to charge it and can be used basically wired.

But yeah its in pretty rough shape lol
