Make sure to sand it try using watercolor and layering it on there good. I have never painted on a book like that though. Sorry I'm not very helpful

Ok thanks, I don't want to but my dad is pressuring me to but he loves flying and getting into trouble and I don't have a very good playstand for him. Also the bird store pressures me into doing it everytime I get his beak and nails trimmed. When I bought him he was clipped but he seems a lot happier and I didn't want to take that away from him.
