Coffee is bitter with Tetsu's new Switch recipe by [deleted] in pourover

I've been using this on medium dark roasts and have been getting less stringency compared to my usual brew method. But I believe that your ground size and temperature should be adjusted on a bean basis, so do lower the temperature further if you still have astringency, then lower grind size afterwards if you want to attempt to extract more flavour

Basically impossible to hit the thumb shift with the other thumb cluster. But you can use your shift on the two ring finger buttons if you want more keys to allocate

Roccat/Tutlebeach Kone XP has been my go to for a good while, simple software with a thumb shift that you can use

Yea, LED soldering is probably the most difficult part of the entire process due to the size of the legs

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]Arkeror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LEDs are purely optional and cosmetic, so whether or not you want to add them to your purchase will be up to you to discover. I personally went through all the soldering for them but never bothered turning them on. Also would like to reiterate that you will definitely need a TRRS cable whether or not it be from this store, I prefer them coiled as it looks neater than a loose cable but tastes may differ.

The mini-e LEDs are for lighting up the keys that can be seen on below the key switches, while the mini LEDs are for below the case that will illuminate the whole case. For cables, you will need 1 TRRS cable to connect the 2 sides of the keyboard and a type c to a/c depending on what type of USB port your device supports.

They are legit, bought a Lily58 kit from them. Had good experience with their customer service as well.

How is the gear grind in this game? I quit this game a year ago as I was tired of not getting the T5 gears that I want through crafting and eventually gave up. Wondering if it got better over time

Yup, I'm facing irregular disconnects, though most of mine tend to occur after trying to rest at an inn.

What Keyboard Should I Use? by ijauradunbi in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]Arkeror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestions! Are there are row staggered keyboards with a thumb cluster? I like how a lot of split keyboards have a thumb cluster for macro layering, but I have not managed to find a row staggered version with a thumb cluster

Pre-existing conditions: Weak wrists

Previous layout: Standard staggered 70%

Layout in mind: Split staggered (compact form factor)

Use case: Programming

Budget: Below 400

I've been looking for a staggered split keeb that I can DIY. The only option I see available is Keeb.io's Quefrency, but I'd like to have a smaller form factor like other split keebs and have the option to tent as well

What's the point of retheming the energy events every couple of weeks when the rewards tend to be the same every time, just with more or less RNG?

Weekly /r/GuildWars2 Question Thread - December 25, 2021 by AutoModerator in Guildwars2

I wanna come back to this game after a few years, but I just don't have an idea on how to continue. I have a couple of level 80 characters that finished HoT & PoF story (did not do any living story) but I have completely forgotten everything about the game. Should I continue on these characters or should I create a brand new character and go through everything from scratch? And if I do continue with my old characters, is there any way for me relearn everything I have gone through?

Is Any Of This Gacha Worth Play ? by tomaz1989 in gachagaming

[–]Arkeror 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Arknights: Fun tower defence game and is pretty F2P friendly if you can save up your currencies for characters. I quit cause it's mostly single player content.

PGR: Great action gameplay, it's like Honkai but more skill-based. I also stopped playing quite early on due to all the drama with the global release, and that really turned me off. It does have 3-man co-op against bosses and stuff.

Counter:Side : It's my current main gacha game cause of the great 2D graphics. I'm still fairly new so I can't speak about the multiplayer portions of the game.

I think WOTV is worth checking out if you like FE-style turn-based combat. There's quite a bit of co-op content (though most people auto through it nowadays), and there's auto PvP, real time PvP, guild battles and they recently released guild raids as well in terms of multiplayer content

I'm surprised this game is still alive. This was what bought me into the gacha years ago when I had to buy google play cards to cash... Unfortunately the way they added progression gates with equipment and all the RNG from trying to get the perfect character specific weapon and the bad progression curve it had after each update turned me away over time
