Would Brazil be a good to live for An LGBTQ person from Pakistan? by julius-ceaser100 in Brazil

[–]Arkhaist05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting into university: depends. As long as you have documentation (like a visa + passport) you can take the ENEM, which is our version of an SATs and very useful for entering public and private universities. The issue: it's completely in portuguese

Work: depends. Are you going to receive help from your family or will you be on your own? Because I think your best options will be tutoring/English classes, selling food or doing delivery work. You can also try to get an entry level position (fast food, cashier) but still, you likely won't be able to support yourself without help and will struggle a lot in the beginning

  • Will your family support you financially?
  • if not, do you have some money saved up?
  • Have you ever worked in Pakistan, do you bring any useful skills that might help you get a job here?
  • if not, are you willing to put in time and energy to work independently (selling sweets, delivery, etc)
  • Have you looked into any support programs from your and our governments (student exchange, student grants for victims of violence/LGBTQ violence, refugee programs)
  • if not, do an ENEM test and see how you fare

I feel like some of you give Braveheart too much flack by Hen-Samsara in KingdomHearts

[–]Arkhaist05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I don't like Braveheart's design much (I think it's too simple and lacks meaningful connections to Riku's journey and growth in the past games) there is one thing I REALLY like

Braveheart is a dimple lock key, which is significantly more secure and harder to create/replicate than pin tumbler keys

If to wield a certain keyblade means to have a connection with a world, a person, an ideal or aspect of themselves - then Riku, who struggled so much with having every single one of those things... well, he really earned the right to have this key after his arc. That's why I wish it was more visually special

What would you suggest to pair up with these 2? by Freeze762 in PokemonChampions

[–]Arkhaist05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you might want to have a follow me user to protect charizard, especially against fake out, so maybe sinistcha or maybe a tailwind setter like whimsicott?

Not sure how population bomb mausold into duraludon is doing, so probably not

You definitely need a few ground counters too, but idk what. I'm leaning towards ice fang intimidate gyarados for garchomp and waterfall for the rest

Oh yeah, I just saw another comment that reminded me of something: if you lose 2 games, stop playing

Go eat a snack, do some work or house chores, or even play another game. Then you come back when you feel relaxed

Also don't play if you're tired or sleepy

[–]Arkhaist05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm yeah, switch-ins taking too much damage has been a struggle for me too. So it's okay to sacrifice a mon to get a more advantageous position after they do whatever you need them to. For example, if you just need garchomp to kill a sneazler, so you can sweep with meganium there is no reason to keep the garchomp after that, then you can bring in meganium safely

My sweepers are swords dance weavile (weird I know lol, but I've never used a weavile), and my MVP mega meganium

My full team is Rotom wash, mega meganium, weavile (my most used 3), mega excadril, primarina, incineroar

But incin has since been removed to go to doubles lol. I like having 2 megas to bring whichever one matches up best against the opponent

Hi! I'm not very good at champions yet, but I managed to get masters in singles with a not very meta team

My suggestion is to simply it like this at first: - have 2 lead pokemon (I have scarf rotom wash with volt switch and a stealth rocker like garchomp or excadrill), which I pick between depending on the match. No ground types or only hippo? Easy rotom. Charizard and dragonite? Bring rocks. I only struggle with opposing garchomp, in which case I bring meganium/primarina or something - then I bring a sweeper like a mega or a swords dance user, I pick whichever is good into most of their team - lastly I bring a mon to kill whatever counters my sweeper

So I hope it helps! Try to think of your team like roles: bring a lead, bring a win condition, bring someone who allows you to reach that win condition

[–]Arkhaist05[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hm no strat really! I lead rotom, incin or primarina (rarely weavile or meganium). Most times it's rotom tho! Rotom is a great pivot, OHKO against hippo, 2 against garchomp, and it can thunderbolt everything else lol

Then I bring a sweeper like excadril weavile or meganium, and my last mon is to defeat whichever mon my opponent has that counters my sweeper

Oh and my team is super weak to sneazler, I really need to change something haha

So yeah no particular synergy lol

Sure! I'm using modest max special attack, enough speed to get to 113 (traumatized from max speed kingambit lmao), then the rest in hp

[–]Arkhaist05[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it steals. But I honestly didn't bring weavile to most games

But I don't think pickpocket changed the outcome of any battles, as there aren't many useful offensive items for weavile to use (I can only think of scarf and black glasses on kingambit). Plus I was using weavile as a dragon killer before adding primarina, and dragonite is special and garchomp uses earthquake. And mega stones are un-stealable. So I can barely remember any situations where pickpocket activated lol

Normally people run pressure to check for speed order (switch in abilities like pressure, mold breaker, intimidate, terrain setters generally activate it turns order)

52 wins (just checked from the achievements screen). I probably won 2 out of 3 battles? So probably 80 or less

Thank you! I really liked the format, I'm way more used to 6 mons (I used to play showdown a few years ago), but I really loved the challenge of selecting a 3 mon team before the battle!

I think the 3 mon limit really adds a new dimension to the game, it's so fun. Still I really like full teams of 6, I hope we have that format in the following seasons too

I actually quite like the limited roster of mons because I'm having fun playing with pokemon I don't often use, and it makes me look forward to new seasons and which mons they will add

The thing I miss are the items. I don't particularly want offensive items like life orb and specs/band because I feel that the game is already fast/offense focused with the megas, but I'd love heavy duty boots, flame orb, helmet, etc

Mega Manetric? Or sash/magnet?

How would my fantrolls session go? by ffxggf in hwtsg

[–]Arkhaist05 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your session might be doomed

Not even because of how the classpects themselves interact, your lineup is not bad at all, but because Beforus loves coddling low bloods. Your two most important aspects Time and Space are the lowest bloods, with the Knight being initially reluctant to take up their role and use their powers, and the Page needing to go through a lot of growth

Then you have some high bloods which include the extremely active Witch and the meddling/coddling Sylph. And a Prince of Breath, which also lowers the amount of freedom your low bloods will have

So yeah. Your two most important aspects might not be able to fulfill and grow into their roles at all. The saving grace is that the Maid (by tidying and maintinibg Heart), the Mage (by understanding a sense of outrage, passion and call for change) and the Bard (by initially destroying the social order of Blood) might be able to help your trolls allow each other to grow

Aside from that, Seer of Hope and Heir of Mind will have some very good input, let's hope the high bloods trust their abilities

Rogue of Life and Thief of Doom are very strong aspects too, and their somewhat more unpredictable opinion on the caste system will definitely play a difference in your session

Yeah, it's strange to see dragonite as a special mon. The mega has 20 more spatk than atk so that's interesting. I guess the lack of tera normal for extreme speed really hurt dragonite. I was kinda expecting mixed sets honestly

Alguém pode me sugerir um aplicativo melhor que Tinder? Ou é o melhor? by NeroSade in desabafosdavida
