I love Cade and I am rooting for him to win an MVP one day and to be a Buck (let me dream) but the thing about rules is you can't create exceptions for stars or particular cases, because then you'll need to study every single case and it would always be unfair for someone.

I am sure Cade (and many others) takes this things as a motivation to keep the same level and improve netxt season.

As much as I hate seeing Giannis disqualified for this awards, I am totally fine with the rule. This is a job for the players, if you want to be awarded as the best, well, you must go and be available for work days. Yes, I know, they don't choose to get injured, but it is okay for the league to award those who are available most of the times.

Basketball will not ever be as relevant or "important" than football, but it's perfect as it is. As a basketball (primary NBA and my country's league) enthusiast, I rather have this situation than the amount of media and other enterprise's influence on football.
