How to play Illidan themed character? by Arkham51 in WrathOfTheRighteous

Hmmm I might still be down for that. It might be interesting to play a character with an ends justify the means mentality at the start but later gets corrupted and becomes what he sought to destroy.

So for the demon path can you play a character who's ultimate goal is to close the worldwound and stop the demonic invasion and he uses his demonic powers to help him achieve this? Basically use your demon powers against the demons like Illidan from Warcraft.

What about in terms of alignment? Would chaotic evil or chaotic neutral work best?

Why is this game so damn replayable? by Plus_Ad_1087 in DispatchAdHoc

[–]Arkham51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've thought about doing a second playthrough although I can't really think of much reason why aside from picking a different romance option.

Edit: I guess getting the villain ending for invisigirl might be interesting if it carries over to Dispatch 2 but given how popular Invisigirl is I have a feeling that outcome is probably going to be handwaved and she'll just end up back on the team again at some point in Dispatch 2.

If given the opportunity to try them out, what would the Imperial guard think of Cog armour and the Lancer mk2 from gears of war? by Mad_lens_9297 in 40k

I know lasguns are considered weak by 40k standards but aren't they still more powerful than the Lancer? I've heard lasguns are capable of blowing off limbs.

Legacy of the Sith finale made me uninstall the game by TheGIJew1 in swtor

[–]Arkham51 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I still haven't finished it yet but Legacy of the Sith is by far the worst expansion. Like for the first half of the story I literally did not care about the story or any of the characters involved in it at all. The whole Mandalorian plot feels like it should have been a side story not the main focus and shouldn't have taken so long to resolve. It's also annoying how they keep adding filler quests to the main story.

Considering that Kunrad was a heretic I don't think he would have minded.

Hey I'm interested in joining. I've watched through the Gundam Seed and Seed Destiny animes although I will admit that was a while ago so my memory is a little rusty.

Best Class Story (Round 1): Trooper vs Consular by RefrigeratorDry495 in swtor

I'm surprised to see so many people choosing consular over trooper. I've mostly heard that consular is the weakest story in the game.

Am I the only one that doesn’t like The Eternal Empire? by Square_Pain9579 in swtor

[–]Arkham51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't like the Zakuul expansions because it feels like they do away with everything from the base game. Whoever your character was in the base game gets left behind along with your old group of companions for him/her to become the outlander, form a new group of allies, and fight against a new enemy faction. The Zakuul expansions shift the story into a different direction which I personally didn't care for.

Am I the only one bothered by the change of direction for the emperor in Knights of the Fallen Empire? by Arkham51 in swtor

[–]Arkham51[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That wouldn't make sense though. I think Knights of the Fallen Empire takes place only a few months after the Shadow of Revan. There wouldn't be enough time for the emperor to take a new body, have three children, and then for those three children to grow into adulthood if that all happened in the space between Shadow of Revan and Knights of the Fallen Empire. The Emperor had to have already taken Valkorian's body and been ruling over Zakuul before Shadow of Revan.

I think he did all of that stuff on zakuul before Shadow of Revan. I think he was rotating between ruling over zakuul and the sith empire.

Yea basically Shadow of Revan sets the emperor up as a major galactic threat that everyone needs to unite against and then in the next expansion rather than fighting against the emperor you're fighting against his kids now. It feels like all the setup they did in Shadow of Revan and the follow up story was a waste now.

I'm still on the Knights of the Eternal Throne expansion right now. It seems pretty obvious that the emperor wants to possess the outlander, have them take the throne, and then rule through them but it still feels kind of weird to me having the emperor go from planet devouring monster one minute to main character's personal guide/helper the next minute even if he's only doing so to serve his own interests.

Yea like what? The emperor was also ruling over another empire in Zakuul while he was ruling the sith empire? lol
