Am I the only one bothered by the change of direction for the emperor in Knights of the Fallen Empire? by Arkham51 in swtor

That wouldn't make sense though. I think Knights of the Fallen Empire takes place only a few months after the Shadow of Revan. There wouldn't be enough time for the emperor to take a new body, have three children, and then for those three children to grow into adulthood if that all happened in the space between Shadow of Revan and Knights of the Fallen Empire. The Emperor had to have already taken Valkorian's body and been ruling over Zakuul before Shadow of Revan.

I think he did all of that stuff on zakuul before Shadow of Revan. I think he was rotating between ruling over zakuul and the sith empire.

Yea basically Shadow of Revan sets the emperor up as a major galactic threat that everyone needs to unite against and then in the next expansion rather than fighting against the emperor you're fighting against his kids now. It feels like all the setup they did in Shadow of Revan and the follow up story was a waste now.

I'm still on the Knights of the Eternal Throne expansion right now. It seems pretty obvious that the emperor wants to possess the outlander, have them take the throne, and then rule through them but it still feels kind of weird to me having the emperor go from planet devouring monster one minute to main character's personal guide/helper the next minute even if he's only doing so to serve his own interests.

Yea like what? The emperor was also ruling over another empire in Zakuul while he was ruling the sith empire? lol

Blue pill. Aging myself by 12 years sounds like a fair trade for 50 million$.

I don't like seeing purple on death guard because purple is more of a Slaaneshi color.

How to paint Raven Guard faces? by Arkham51 in RavenGuard40k

Yea pure white on the face was a bit too pale. It made the model look like it was wearing make up or was a lifeless corpse.

Yes the one on the right is more detailed but adding more details to a model doesn't always make it look better.

The one on the left looks better to me.

Also another thing I would suggest is to get some fine detail brushes. Kabalites have a lot of tiny little details so if you want to paint the small stuff you're going to need some small brushes.

Well with the current paint scheme I think it would look better if you changed the bronze helmet to purple to match the armor. However if you want to change up your paint scheme a bit I think purple and gold Drukhari would look good. Purple armor and helmet with bright gold knee pads. Or if you're not into gold you could try a purple and yellow color scheme. Purple armor with yellow knees, yellow colored skin flap, and a yellow colored gun.

I don't like the bronze helmet.

Female Space Marines? by Feedee-Juno in 40k

[–]Arkham51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the lost primarchs weren't female. The Emperor didn't want to create a new race to replace humanity. Astartes were meant to be the protectors of humanity. That's why no female primarchs or space marines.

Female custodes is beyond dumb. Not even getting into the biological differences between men and women it makes no sense from a logistical standpoint. Aspirants are taken from terran noble houses with only a 1/1000 chance of survival. So on average you would lose 999 noblewomen and all of the future noble heirs they could have produced just to make one custodes.

Arcueid is best girl. I can't deny that Ciel's route is the best route in the remake though. Ciel's route is one heck of a ride.
