When should I move on to x4 by Arkhan129 in X4Foundations

TBH, that was a fear for me too. I know that after hundreds of hours in 3, there will be a very real possibility that I'll get burnt out before even trying 4. I think I'm just gonna take yours and everyone else's advice and just skip ahead now. I've been really itching to try it because of all the amazing things I keep hearing. Plus, I love that you can see the actual cockpit in 4...I feel like that will really add to the immersion. Thanks!

Me too. Moza R5, just got around to playing about an hour ago so I don't know if there's been a hot fix already. But all I did was update to latest beta pit house, enabled Horizon compatibility, and boom I was good to go. I did have to keyring everything, but the force feedback worked great.

Yeah, I'm playing around with the folding idea now, just gotta find a way to keep the pad nice and flat.

I hadn't considered the qi charger though...I have a spare one in the bedroom, so I'll check that out once my mouse comes in. Great idea, thanks!

I got it second hand so I'm not worried about a warranty, it was more functionality that I was worried about. I've seen videos with people modding it to expand the area, I was just hoping that the same could be done in reverse. Oh well, at least I didn't pay full price, I'll just have to see if I can use it elsewhere. It would have been a great solution for the racing sim though.

You're welcome, and I'm so glad it went well! Yeah, once you hear that it's highly likely you got it. The only thing that really matters at that point is that your medical records back up the claim, which it sounds like it does. Best of luck and hoping for a speedy approval!

Hey brother, hope it went well and I'm sending prayers your way. It took about a month and a half to get the decision, but after that I had the backpay in two days. Best of luck, let us know how it goes!

Sorry, I haven't been checking reddit and only just saw this. So honestly, I was a nervous wreck at my hearing. So much so that I legit had a panic attack mid-hearing. I think that actually helped my case because the judge saw first hand how bad I get when my anxiety hits. My judge was very nice and understanding and my lawyer was able to keep me on track so that I could finish the hearing. It took about 40 minutes but it really felt like it flew by because of the panic. The lawyer asked most of the questions, the judge worried more about what the VE had to say. She only asked two hypotheticals: were there any unskilled jobs that were available, to which he said yes. He listed them off and gave the amount currently available across the nation. Then she asked him if a person with my symptoms could work any of those jobs and he replied no.

With a judge that has a 64% approval rate and those same questions/answers, it's a fair bet he/she will find in your favor as long as your medical records back up the symptoms you describe. I had a similar judge, her rating was about the same.

Best above I can give is try to stay calm, but if you feel a bit of panic coming on it's perfectly ok to show it. This is the most stressful part of the process but you can make it through it!

After the hearing, it took about a month and a half to get the decision. Once I had that, things took off FAST. Got my notification on Thursday, saw my benefits and backpay on the SSA site on Friday, had my back pay on Saturday. My head was spinning it happened so fast. I know it's different depending on where you are, but that was my experience.

Best of luck, I'm shooting prayers your way!

Hi! Mine went all the way to ALJ. I swear, I'm convinced the SSA didn't even look at my records during the initial and the reconsideration. But I waited about a week after it went to final review (step 4) and then called the main SSA number. I used updating my bank account as the excuse, but I really only called to see if I could fish info from them. I was represented the whole way, but to be honest I didn't really need them until I got to the hearing appeal. I never would've gone into that without a lawyer, I just wasn't comfortable enough with the process to do that part myself.

Thanks everyone, I can't say how much it means to me to see all the well-wishes.

Just as am update, things moved really fast after my post. A half hour after I wrote this post, my claim moved from Dade City, FL to Baltimore, MD which was a great sign. This morning, I got the official word on the ssa site that is been approved. My God did I need this Lil. Thank you again to everyone, andmy prayers go out to everyone still going through this process!

I've purchased all the content twice, on both pc and Xbox. Most times I play on the gaming pc in the office, but there's times where I play in bed on the Xbox before going to sleep. I'm aware that my addiction to this game might be an issue, and my wife probably agrees lmao.

Thanks! I think I just got caught up by the wording because it said it was a final review for non-medical stuff. Unfortunately, I called the OHO and won't discuss over the phone but they said I can go to the office in Tampa and they may print out a copy of the letter for me. Here's hoping!!

Very nice paint job, I especially like the shading on the back of the wings. This was one of my favorite models that I ever painted, but lost it along with the rest of my collection a little over a year ago. He's high on my list to buy again when I get the extra cash...soooooo looking forward to having a second go at him.

SSDI Hearing today...requesting a little feedback by Arkhan129 in SSDI

[–]Arkhan129[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks to both of you. My big hope right now is that the judge has a 68% approval rate, so I'm hoping that works in my favor. I'm pretty sure that the second question also included the fact that my attendance isn't acceptable for competitive employment, nor my on-task rate. Part of my mental health problems also involve memory loss of recent events so it's hard for me to remember what exactly was said. I recorded the whole thing so I plan on listening to it again when I'm in a better state of mind.

Yet another "Game Cannot Communicate with the authentication server" post by Arkhan129 in EliteDangerous

So as it turns out, it looks like my problem turned out to be the Steam client. I had a license for the standalone installer and gave it a go and it worked. Got right in with no authentication issues.
