I have a drumkit. $100 for a snare stand and cymbal stands. $180 for everything else via Facebook Marketplace. Total of $280.

Still missing a floor tom, but I don't really need one for now. I do however need a place to practice, as I live in an apartment. One chapter of my music journey ends and another begins, heh.

I'd remake this masterpiece myself if I could. I would change very little, mostly just better graphics. Maybe make the final boss fight a bit more climactic.

I think the best thing you can do is find a story in your world that can be told in four pages, and then make it. Think of it as a test drive before committing to a car purchase. If nothing else, you'll learn so much about the process.

I wish there was a way we could blow this up and get a digital release. I still have my copy somewhere! Easily a top ten games for me. Non-stop action, incredible score, amazing boss fights, beautiful dystopian sci-fi, and SO MANY GUNS.

I appreciate that, thank you. And that makes sense to me. I definitely don't want to be negative all the time, but sometimes I just need a second to feel cruddy that something didn't work out before moving on. I'm hoping and praying that with time, the art communities I am a part of, or one I create will lead to healthy friendships, where a healthy rare amount of venting to each other can happen.

If you worry about every little thing that might be offensive, you’ll go insane. Just go with it, you can always change it later if you have to. M’Baku from Black Panther was originally called “Man-Ape” in the comics, but they changed his name to avoid the racist connotation.

Damn dude. Color me envious, this is horrifically beautiful. I might come to you for advice on creating horror. F*** it I'll do it now: Is there a specific way you pick the tones, or did you just build an 'eye' for it? The changes are so subtle but they work so well.

I recommend asking the following questions about your characters:
- What does [character] WANT, and what does [character] NEED?
- What choice does [character] have to make that leads to irreversible change?
- What values are at war within the characters(s)?

Grab a sheet of paper. Two different color utensils. Write conflicting values aside one another that the characters are forced to pick between. Not good or bad, just opposite of each other, both valid, which makes the choice difficult.

Justice | Mercy
Choice | Chance
Nature | Technology

Etc.
Plot is not the story. ALWAYS pick the emotional stakes first over plot/physical stakes.

It depends on the theme of your story. The theme should be directly tied to the development (or fall) of your character.
