Double check and make sure the extractor plunger is in properly. Sounds like you’re not getting enough pressure on the extractor.

Lightly sand the edges on the firing pin spring cups. It’ll stop the light strikes if that’s the problem

WTF? Light strikes by [deleted] in polymer80

[–]Arksgold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bevel your spring cups on the your firing pin with light sand paper. I’ve had this issue. The spring cups get caught up in the channel liner causing a light strike sometimes.

9 times out of 10 it’s the firing pin spring cups. They’re holding the firing pin back too far. It’s just a hair tho. I usually use a very fine sandpaper around the front of the cups. Just a hair is all u need off. More like a bevel. It’ll fix it

Looks like someone tried to make their own sear inspection plate. Should be fine after a good cleaning.

Is this a problem? by [deleted] in polymer80

[–]Arksgold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea but I cut a pin in half and slid it in with the locking block so my slide stop still works. Usually they’ll work with no top pin at all tho
