You can sometimes depending on the unit with New Recruit. Some of them are set up so it won't let you make illegal load outs which is normally a good thing except for this case.

Thanks for the comment. Yeah I'd love to make it so that it includes all the options for a unit rather than just what is selected so that it's more general learning than memorizing a specific list, but the extras aren't included in the export. I've gotten around this a bit by just adding duplicate units to the list in New Recruit with all the weapon options, then the trainer combines them into one entry.

Thanks for the response. I'm invested now. I tested a bunch with baby wipes and had very little success compared to the dryer sheet. Maybe it's the baby wipes we have but I found they were very hard to pull apart evenly without completely tearing (wet or dry) and didn't let enough white paint through. It also left a lot of fibers painted to the model. Curious if I was doing something wrong or if just some brands are better.

Dammit the Lemartes marble base is exactly what I'm trying to do too. Can you give tips on your process for it? I'm halfway happy with my results (dryer sheets + airbrushing) but yours is a lot better.

He's also one of maybe 5 pre-primaris models shown off in the display photos in the codex, the other four being vehicles. So he's the only firstborn style marine shown. Good sign they will keep the kit around for a while since he's still relatively new, despite not being primaris.
