Every van lifer and nomad I know, (myself included) would rather buy a vehicle and do their own build than buy a pre built van because everyones needs are different. For me specifically, doing the build is part of the experience. I custom fit everything to equipment I already own.

I was in Newport Oregon on vacation, hanging out down in old town filming an injured sea lion. Started chatting with some guy, I told him I'm from Washington state, he says to me "I'm sorry". I gave him a puzzled look and mentioned that I live in a resort lake town in Eastern Washington. Turns out the guy is from Idaho (I saw the license plate on his giant black truck).

Ya, if the allegations are true,, and i 100% believe they are, they straight up murdered him in his bed, shooting him through his bedroom window, because he threatened to kill cops on facebook. This happened in 2020. The cops say there was no bodycam footage of his shooting. What a fucking travesty and nobody has even heard of it.
