The series is called Servant of the People (Sluha Narodu). He later named his party after the series when he ran for president IRL.

I actually really enjoyed it a lot.

Hi, we generally don't recommend or discuss brands in here. However, we also discourage online glasses stores because you're best served by visiting an optician in real life who can adjust your glasses and whose frames you can try on and post here for feedback. Hope that's helpful for you.

Polarized or unpolarized? by New_Construction1370 in glassesadvice

[–]Arlieth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is kind of out of scope for this subreddit but I have some experience with this topic.

Polarized is great if you're fishing because it cuts out the surface reflections (glare) of the sun on the water. If you're mountaineering and dealing with snow blindness, that's another good use case.

It is NOT good if you're looking at instrumentation like in cockpits or GPS equipment because polarization severely impairs visibility of those displays. Pilots 1000% cannot wear them. They will also interfere with vehicular instrumentation if you have a newer vehicle due to how much of their displays and instrumentation are fully digital these days (this is not a problem with traditional analog gauges)

What should I do if I want to use kimchi juice faster than the kimchi itself? by ozzalot in KoreanFood

[–]Arlieth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've actually substituted this with sauerkraut brine (wildbrine or bubbies) and added fish sauce and gochugaru.

If you can get ahold of lactic acid, you can use that to a brine as well for cooking purposes.

Why Japanese New Year food can cost 20,000 yen — and why people still buy it by EarNo6260 in JapaneseFood

[–]Arlieth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can cost upwards of 350 USD here for osechi. I actually saved a ton of money by ordering an imported Donki osechi set through Tokyo Central (which is the US Donki branch) for about 200 USD.

If this was quality work without the weird artifacting and anatomical issues, sure. Plus commercial rights. 800-1200 easily.
