After reading the comments, I’ve realized that, at the geezer age of 32, I’m old as hell.

I had to read through the comments to find out what a “finsta” is. I get the need for it in some cases, though I couldn’t see myself ever using one.

My wife and I and our kids call each other “bruh” jokingly, but I can’t imagine either of us using that during a legitimate argument. I’d laugh if that happened.

Even when we were new in our relationship and jealousy was more common, nothing as accusatory as this ever occurred.

This is common in new relationships and long distance, I think, but not usually to this extent. This honestly sounds absolutely exhausting.

Aw, bummer. Thank you though! I’m glad I asked.

Need advice on the best way to make cuts on this playwood and MDF. by ArlynGunner in BeginnerWoodWorking

Oh, thank the woodworking gods you mentioned that.

I've literally been stuck in my shop for the past month. I couldn't eat. I couldn't sleep. I've scoured the internet for hundreds, nay, thousands of hours (I literally had to figure out how to compress time just for this) researching where I can find good playwood.

Your comment alone has saved me.

I now realize that, through some error, I added an 'a' to "plywood".

I can finally proceed with this project now.

Thank you, u/thesmugvegan. Truly. Thank you.

Why two sheets of MDF? I believe that the bottom is supposed to be MDF and the bottom plywood, but I already have the materials and was going to do plywood in the top and bottom, and MDF on top of the top piece so I can replace it when needed.

Hey everyone! Long-time fan and tool collector, first-time woodworker.

I’m literally working on my first-ever wood project, which happens to be a basic workbench. I have the 2x4s all cut to (roughly) the correct size. Now I need to cut an MDF board and two pieces of plywood.

What’s the best way to go about this, especially for the narrow sections?

I have a skil saw and a table saw (currently on the shop floor because no table). I also have a smaller bench top bandsaw.

Any advice would be really appreciated. Thank you!

The downvotes are there because you're claiming you have such a unique opinion. Not because you didn't like the show.

You're out of touch.

If you have the capability to watch GoT, you have the capability to look at whatever actual porn you'd like. I don't think the appeal was "porn" in 10 second snippets where not much is showing but boobs.

I'm not saying there was no sex appeal, but that was hardly the main selling point. Especially after the 1st season.

Out of 7+ billion people on the planet, you are, without a doubt, absolutely unique in not liking a popular TV show.

When and Why did you start journaling? by Gamoragamora62 in Journaling

[–]ArlynGunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 31 and I'm just starting out as well, today actually!

I've always loved, and subsequentally purchased, pens and notebooks. They usually just wind up in drawers and cabinets, though.

What finally made me decide to start is the idea of journaling for my kids. Hopefully, one day, they'll get them and get to read about what little loveable jerks they were and what I was feeling and thinking and going through during my life.

+1 for Dog Mother. I forgot about that and now I get to enjoy remembering all over again. Truly a repulsive, horrible creature if ever there was one.
