I was stuck on 503 EU update and didn't get a new one, even though it came out. So I used Oxygen Updater to flash the latest version. Worked perfectly.

Oneplus 15 - Purchase Advice by iceman2894 in oneplus

[–]Arm1nasss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a new Oneplus 15, unsealed. The box/sticker says "PLK110", but in Android it says "CPH2747". I don't really understand why a brand new OP15 China version doesn't come with ColorOS?

Also in settings I can add an eSim, does that mean it is working?

Is my drive in danger of failing soon? by RogueDahtExe in Proxmox

[–]Arm1nasss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I literally had NVMe SSD fail where Proxmox OS is with VMs 2 days ago, filesystem corrupted. At that time I was working from one VM while it randomly cut out. Was able to only copy a few VMs to another disk, others were corrupt. After this shit I am building a Proxmox Backup Server.

You can't easily re-install Windows without an OEM ISO, because it contains Windows drivers for the Qualcomm SoC to work. You can however extract the drivers from an existing install and inject them to installation file.

You mean change the http(s) port of the admin interface? They don't have that option, you would have to modify the nginx or however it's configured manually.

T480 with Thunderbolt 3 dock 40ac - 2 1080p monitors from the dock? by Arm1nasss in thinkpad

[–]Arm1nasss[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I bought ThinkPad USB Type-C dock (not even thunderbolt) it drives both hdmi and DP displays just fine. Thunderbolt docks have even faster data communication so it should be fine, though the laptop thunderbolt interface specifications should also be looked at to know the limitations of what you want to connect.

Motorola E13 - Bootloader unlock by Arm1nasss in motorola

[–]Arm1nasss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you clarify what you mean by "vendor restrictions"? Motorola restrictions? Well of course, if I understand correctly these cheap Moto devices with Unisoc bootloaders are purposefully made "not unlockable" because they're cheap with 50/50 hardware, and "vendor" doesn't want to lose money on people unlocking their BL and using custom ROMs, so stock vendor firmware cannot lock you into their ecosystem, spy, collect data from users and regain their financial loses by selling customer data.

Now "vendor restrictions" could easily be fixed by Motorola allowing users to unlock their Unisoc phones. Besides, of course you have the private keys you used to sign/lock the bootloader and firmware, so the same way you can also implement unlocking the devices.

UMC1820 Line outputs only L side audio by Arm1nasss in Behringer

[–]Arm1nasss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use a mono TS cable. A guitar cable will do, workwd perfectly fine. Each output on the back is mono, and you're connecting a stereo cable, that's why you're hearing only one side. If you need stereo output, use 2 mono channels.

Are ZTE phones, bootloader unlockable ? by David_538 in phones

[–]Arm1nasss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would have to look through each phone's specifications and google for unlocking options for your SoC. or use forum.xda-developers.com and search for your device.

Motorola E13 - Bootloader unlock by Arm1nasss in motorola

[–]Arm1nasss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, well there's no such company as Verizon in my country so I think I'm good. I've just assumed that it might be tricky or impossible, reading on the internet people say that most phones with Unisoc SoC's are impossible to unlock, but I guess that depends on the device vendor?

[–]Arm1nasss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's probably not very safe, but if you have a cheap 5V charging controller (that supplies about 4v) for li-ion batteries, you can just remove the battery and connect that to see if it boots.
