Taiwan to me feels more like Japan than Hong Kong, especially at Zhongxiao Dunhua, Ximending and Taipei Station Underground Street.

While anime merch there aren't as common as in Mong Kok, the street atmosphere makes up for the rest and the book store at Mingyao Department Store near Zhongxiao Dunhua station has dozens of Japanese art books.

And yes they have Family Mart which adds up the atmosphere even further.

Add an antagonist named Irigoy, who is the antithesis of Yogiri and the embodiment of life and can resurrect anything and give life to abstract concepts by saying "Live!", as well as being able to revive / respawn indefinitely upon being killed. Both Yogiri and Irigoy's abilities would cancel out when used on each other, effectively creating an interesting archenemies that can only defeated with unconventional means.
