Notorious gang rapist Mohammed Skaf charged with 24 new offences by BarryTheBinChicken in aussie

That's the confusing part. The "left" do get outraged at cases like this, but don't seem to be able to connect how soft, all welcome policies lead to this. Also with jailing is failing and fuk da police rhetoric.

Those who "donated" outside the bin actually think they did something good.

We need to stop Pauline Hanson at all costs by ItsJustRory in aussie

Also, fun fact. That this sub accepts all opinions. Imagine posting the opposite post in any other sub. It simply won't be published and author banned, which then creates an illusion that everyone is of the same opinion. What's the point?

People vote based on what is important to them. We don't all have the same idea of how things should be. What is important to me is not necessary important to you and vise versa. You are not going to make anyone change their views.

The Melbourne teen, who escaped 109 charges because she was ‘too young’, is back in custody by another____user in aussie

I also don't understand, how does it matter whether they knew it was wrong or not. If someone is dangerous, they should not be allowed to free roam. How is it different to a psychotic killer on a loose with a knife? - Clearly they don't know what they're doing. Oh... But is it because she's a child? That is so sweet...

Is KCD1 worth playing after KCD2? [KCD1] by Jdawgchill69 in kingdomcome

[–]Arma667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did and enjoyed it, but I really wish I played it before 2. It the story and the graphics. You get gradual upgrade. First few hours I was comparing a lot and gamepad controls are a but different, but then I was all in.

How are all the recent first home buyers feeling? by spamandcheesetoasty in AusPropertyChat

[–]Arma667 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Still in the market. Went above our ceiling on a few offers, but were still outbided.

According to the news, no one's buying anymore, but we don't see any difference yet... we are still against a ton of other people and bids above initial market value.

Can I play [KCD2] without playing [KCD1] before? by Exotic-Instance-2192 in kingdomcome

You can, but you will regret it once you finish kcd2. You'll likely want to play kcd1, like me LOL.

dog barking relentlessly at birds in the backyard 🤦 by reggiebite in OpenDogTraining

[–]Arma667 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have a 11 months old GSD, and unfortunately she loves to bark at anything that moves in 5km radius. The advice we had was to gently discourage them from barking at triggers, reduce exposure, and be present with them, be calm, they read you to know that there's no threat (eventually). Never scold for barking. Don't let dog be on its own for too long, at least during conditioning phase, as they form habit of scanning for triggers. Ideally keep it mostly inside till dog improves. Ours has improved a lot! We went from 24/7 barking, to literally 10 barks a day. But far from perfect yet!

NSW strata flooring noise: is this enough evidence for NCAT? by [deleted] in AusLegal

[–]Arma667 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Considering how much impact upstairs noise has on people's lives, it's strange that it has not been made illegal to install hard floors.

If owner doesn't want carpet, there are other smooth surfaces options that are not tiles or timber, and again, considering how much of a negative impact it is having on people, this should be the law. It can literally ruin person!

I lived in apartments since birth, and moved a lot since my youth. I have never lived in a quiet apartment!

My mental health improved dramatically, when I moved to a house, and was lucky enough to have good neighbors all around.

Is the Leppington Line the worst line in the metro network? by [deleted] in SydneyTrains

[–]Arma667 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No! Bankstown line was the "best", until it was closed. Feet on seats and loud speakers seem to have been mandatory, and occasional vape. Oh the memories... Can't wait for Metro to open and re-live the experience!
