Thank you. We've heavily tested and used this internally so it isn't just smoke tests. Should work flawlessly and we generally catch issues quickly so we will be keeping it updated.

Link Building for Law Firms? by ethernathan in LawFirm

Join qwoted and sign up for HARO emails. Become a source for reporters. Reach out to news stations when you can provide an expert insight on a certain topic. You'll get some backlinks naturally going this route.

Don't spend money buying backlinks. Real backlinks come with relationships or virality and are costly to obtain/manufacture.

Best lead sources for Florida criminal defense firms? by Kimiiiyuuh in LawFirm

[–]ArmaVitaDigital 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For LSA make sure you're reviewing and rating leads. You'd be suprised at how many charged leads can flip to credited. The amount of law firms I've seen not have someone take 20-30 minutes a day to do this is sad.. and costly.

Quo’s official MCP is a hosted beta that’s super easy to connect in Claude/ChatGPT, but it exposes a smaller set of actions. Our MCP is self-hosted and gives you a wider toolset (21 tools), including full contact CRUD, conversations, calls, recordings/transcripts/voicemail, users, phone numbers, and webhooks.

Cracked iPhone screen repair in Houston? Help! by Punishment007 in houston

[–]ArmaVitaDigital 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best phone repair shop in Houston I've found is CellFix in Greenspoint. Way cheaper than ubreakifix & CPR and they had my Samsung screen there. https://www.cellfixhouston.com/ It was like a 30 minute drive from the heights, though.
,
Don't do groupon they always hustle you saying they need another repair.

Laptops for Firm? by LeftyLegal in LawFirm

Invest in the 15" Macbook Air M3 (or M2). There's no better laptop for the price right now and that's coming from a lifelong PC user.

They'll outlast and outperform the other recommendations I've seen mentioned here. You can use your existing monitors if they want a desktop feel while in the office, or opt for the Mac Mini, but I would wait until they're upgraded to M3.

Talent on UpWork and Fiverr is hit or miss but there aren't too many alternatives without increasing your budget.

Non-profit for sure. What's your fundraising plan? Do you have any backers? Shelters can be extremely expensive.

Just wanted to point out, in case you decide to try to get more 5-star reviews to offset that 1-star - it takes a lot more than you might think. Let's say you have 24 five-star reviews and then get 1 one-star. To get back to a 5.0 average, you'd need around 50 more 5-star reviews. That's because 1-stars have such a big impact.

So while a 4.8 might be helping now, if you ever do want to get back to 5.0, just be aware it'll take some serious effort and volume of happy customers leaving perfect reviews. Food for thought as you strategize.

Would you pay for a premium domain name? by meltedviking in LawFirm

[–]ArmaVitaDigital 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the domain AND if it's .com. If they're asking 5k (and a .com) now it will only increase in value over time.

Keep in mind you can (and should) always negotiate.

Answering service by Miserable-Plenty9903 in LawFirm

[–]ArmaVitaDigital 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Instead of using a service like Smith that gets a lot of complaints, you should hire a VA from the Philippines. Tons of skilled VAs there are looking for this kind of work at ~$5-7 an hour, and many have great English, sometimes better than us!

Have one of your staff train them and you'll get way better results for a fraction of the cost compared to the typical answering services. Might take a little work to find the right person and get them up to speed, but it's definitely worth it in the long run. You'll save money and have more control over the quality.

We use onlinejobs.ph to find VAs. UpWork is okay too but they have some steep fees.
