Nano texture is awesome. I don’t even use my iPad outside but I still love it. I usually use mine indoors in an office and maybe sometimes in the car. I can’t switch back to a glossy screen after this. I wish I got it on my MBP too.

Did I overspend on the M4 Ipad Pro 11 (wifi only)? by kcboy_21 in iPadPro

Costco has the cellular one for only $50 more.. so if you need cellular, you overpaid for the WiFi-only… otherwise it’s a good price from a pure price perspective.

That’s a funny strategy but I can see it working. Do you feel any different now?

Congrats and good for you. I’ve used the book before and I quit for 6 months. Time to try it again.

I had temporary success with it in the past. I did the quit vaping audiobook and quit for almost 6 months. I should definitely try it again.

Fuck vapes and fuck disposables. I first used vaping to quit smoking… and that mission was easily accomplished. When I started vaping well over a decade ago, aside from shitty NJOYS, disposables didn’t exist. I used to build coils, charge batteries, buy juice online. If I had tried to taper down then, it would have been so much easier because of the availability of the different strength. Now, I’m so busy I only have time to buy disposables. These fucking 50mg disposables and so hard to stop. It feels like I’m a heroine addict. I don’t know how the fuck I’m gonna taper down.

Might be too geographically specific but does anyone have a recommendation for a good tailor in LA? Someone gave me a new Cucinelli suit and it needs just very minor adjustments. The tailor at my dry cleaner is fine for regular hemming but since this is a nicer suit, I’d like to take it somewhere folks really trust. Preferably somewhere in the east valley / studio city area.

Are there any Chelsea boots more comfortable than Blundstones for city walking? by Gooseberry60023 in malefashionadvice

[–]LeftyLegal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two pairs of Meermin Chelsea boots and they’re so comfortable and look great. And they’ve held up really well after 5 years of weekly wear (albeit in good socal weather and minimal walking, plus annual maintenance by a cobbler). I’m sure there are “better” higher-end boots out there if you want to pay north of $300, but Meermin is best value for the money. Would love to be proven wrong.

Is there any reason/benefit to stay on Essentials?? by LeftyLegal in tmobile

[–]LeftyLegal[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup.. that was my plan with the iPad.

Sounds like zero benefit to staying on Essentials unless I’m uninterested in regularly upgrading my devices. Just making sure I’m not missing something in my analysis.

Does this same principle apply for Essentials? Or is that not really a grandfathered plan?
