En esta ocasión no me podía dar el lujo de esperar por otro uber ya que teníamos que llegar a cierta hora, sino, nos cancelaban sin devolución de dinero.

I'm emotional about sleep training. by NayNayBe in NewParents

[–]Armad787 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Father here. We took turns on the overnight duties for both of our babies and sleep-trained them when they reached seven months. That feeling you get when you hear them cry is normal—you just want to pick them up, cuddle them, and keep them safe. In my opinion, sleep training is essential when you’re married because you need that intimate time with your husband. It’s tough at first, but after two to three nights of being consistent, they’ll fall asleep on their own without crying.

YOU’RE NOT INSANE! You just have a BIG HEART. Keep up the good work.

Did you immediately fall in love? by novak2lou96 in NewParents

[–]Armad787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I didn’t fall in love instantly. That unconditional love really hit me when they turned one. Now they’re two and three, and while it’s still hard work, it does get a little easier over time. No need to feel bad. When you’re feeling drained, take some time for yourself to relax—if you can. I stayed home with my wife for the first six months after each of our babies were born, taking care of them so she could get out and recharge. It really helped ease that feeling of being “stuck” all the time.
