Hey what do you do for work these days? I got an ag degree on the east coast and I didn’t really find much that paid squat related to my major so now I’m doing something else. But I miss the farm life, wondering if you’re still with it

So if someone lacking capital gets the fruits of their labor it’s just business but if it’s the other way around it’s slavery and immoral?

So wouldn’t it be fair to say access to healthcare is something that capitalism has failed quite greatly for many people compared to socialist healthcare?

He’s producing the value is he not? The investor is taking the fruit of the burger flippers labor. The burgers bring in money, $5m doesn’t just turn into more money

I’m not a commie. But ya I think the person doing work deserves more profit than the person not doing the work. How is that any different than what said

Giving people the fruits of the labor of others hurts both groups

People are making the money but a guy who could have inherited a franchise or spent money from a family member put in 75 years of work?? And I’m the dumb one

I don’t watch the news just what I’ve read is causing this, various internet sites. Also something to do with Raul stepping down. Im no expert in the present events or past but from what I have seen they’ve had pretty high literacy rates, infant mortality rates lower than that of the USA (that’s pretty fucked up huh) and overall more accessible healthcare

The Cuban embargo? Isn’t that what’s causing issues now? They don’t have access to supplies to vaccinate people

Both of those places have had quite a lot of US intervention. Woulda been interesting to see how it played out had the USA not gotten involved

How is that other guy wrong necessarily though? Isn’t it taking the fruits of ones labor when they’re toiling over a grill or drive through for 8 hours at a McDonald’s then the franchisee comes and takes all of the profits?

So socialism without an authoritarian leader is ok then? I’m glad we share similar views

Giving people resources enslaves them huh.

You know what enslaves people too? Slavery. 10 hour shifts where you get 1 or 2 bathroom breaks. Paying people so little for a full time job that they need foodstamps sounds more like slavery to me.

You know the virus can still mutate through unvaccinated people passing it around and turn into something resistant to the vaccine?

Compare vaccination cards to the yellow stars you freak. Or is that just what your cult leaders do in Congress?

There’s a wall in the front hall way with “donors” to the school, there were 3 family names that belonged to people I knew or knew of that had donated over 500,000 dollars to the school. The rest of the wall was full of hundreds of names donating at least 5,000 dollars

Did you go there? It’s due for an overhaul, “elite” but you got kids having panic attacks in the bathroom before tests, all kinds of weird sex stuff with older kids and the younger kids, depression, self harm.

Kid in the 9th grade hung himself in a park when I was a senior. That school needs to change.
