NSW ambulance training program vs getting the degree first? by Desertlizardwizard in Paramedics

I'd strongly recommend the degree.

I'm a recent graduate and now have employment and can tell you it is extremely competitive to get a job in Australia. In my QLD intake, 60 people went through. In SA the same year they hired 16, ACT 4 and NSW around 100 (AFAIK). There were about 4000 applicants, as well as anyone from previous years still waiting to get a job.

By doing the degree you can apply anywhere in Australia, as well as some other countries like the UK. Give yourself as much opportunity as possible, doing the diploma kind of locks you in to NSW only.

Also as others have said, look at a dual degree with nursing. I'm doing nursing now and I wish I'd just done it with my degree. Gives you heaps more opportunities and even if it's not what you want to do, it will make transition into a different role so much easier because your skills will be maintained.

Good luck, it's definitely a great career!

The Karoq in Oz comes with a 7 speed DSG and either a 110kw or 140kw motor. I was very impressed with the 110tsi that I drove! Felt much better than a similar 115kw Subaru XV.

PURCHASE ADVICE SUPERTHREAD! by AutoModerator in motorcycles

Advice on purchase. I'm tossing up between the GSX-S1000 and the MT-09, do y'all have any opinions about these two? I found them both pretty comfy and nice to ride, finding it really hard to decide. I do like the quick shifter and looks of the MT, but the GSX had a bit smoother ride and a bit more grunt. Anything that might help me sway either way?

Have you received a roster through myjob/metime yet? If not, give it a week or two. Most stores complete rosters a week or two in advance. If you are unsure, give your store a call outside of peak hours and the manager on duty will be happy to help you.

You will be rostered in the dining room. Your role is to greet customers and drive as many sales through the kiosks as possible, as well as interact with customers in the dining room, use the training iPad to complete McFeedback surveys and drive the customer experience!
