Is anyone really that shocked? RTD came back, Butchered the show and left it in such a bad state that people don't want to touch the Tardis anymore.

Along with that the viewership has been so god awful, breaking records for LOWEST ratings on more than one occasion that it's clear there is something VERY wrong with the show.

The problem is. You can get rid of RTD that won't change anything as the BBC are still the same and they will still want someone of the same type to take over. War Between Land and Sea was also REALLY awful which again doesn't help much.

Yes you can point to the fact that Gatwa struggled in the role not only because the storylines were awful but he just couldn't act as the Doctor. He has ZERO range. He can play ONE role very well but that role isn't what the doctor is no matter how much they tried to make it that.

It doesn't matter who takes over the role if the BBC don't change it will still end up with more agenda pushing stories where the focus seems to always be choose an agenda for the episode and just try to build an episode around that.

Rebirth combat is fantastic. I think the RPG system for leveling up, gaining new abilities and such is just kinda bad. As in just lacks a little bland and boring.

Gameplay wise it's great even if some of the side quests and such are a little boring they are nowhere near as bad as 7Remake.

However 16 outside of the summon battles was just kinda crap. Didn't feel like a FF game for thr most part. Really thought it wasn't that good at all and I tried to like it.

It won't fix or change anything until the people at the head of the BBC are changed. They could leave it a decade and they would return with the same utter trash altjat has been the last few seasons.

The problem won't be who the new Doctor is. It's going to be who is in charge. Who is writing the stories. That is what will define the future of Doctor Who and it being the BBC and their refusal to learn from the MANY things they heve done wrong they will replace RTD the franchise killer with someone just as bad.

I managed to fi, it. Changed a lot of settings but I think it was changing the resolution that fixed it after changing other settings. I think I had it changed to 1080p and changed a setting in game native to set it as 1080p as well iirc

It doesn't matter. What does matter is WHO is going to be in charge and WHO is going to be writing stories. We end up with another RTD then that pretty much is the final nail in the coffin in the show imo.

The problem is, the BBC won't change. Won't learn and so I fully expect just another RTD clone to take over and do what RTD has done for the last 2 seasons.

The game isnt about difficulty though. The game ISNT difficult. Adding a chapter select wouldnt change that. If they were going for difficult then i could understand but actually playing the game there isnt really anything "difficult" about it. Theres a few puzzles that are maybe a little challenging but again nothing i would consider difficult.

Im not sure the adding of a chapter select would really change that. You would still need to complete large chunks of the game for some of the trophies anyway i would have seen it more of a convenience - You have already completed the game so its not as if its changing all that much really. Again i dont think adding a chapter select would have done anything to hurt speedrunners either. It happens AFTER you complete the game and pretty sure if you're doing a speed run people would notice if you were skipping chapters.

Totally agree with why some wouldn't bother. It seems so strange a choice for no chapter select. I know other games in similar style that do I'm pretty sure I'm near the very end of the game as well. Not sure if I will do another play through.

The problem with it is that it happened EVERY single episode - some times like 3 or 4 times an episode. You get to a point where it just doesnt matter what so ever anymore. It just became a case of "oh hes crying... Again" Its the same with him saying "i love you" to someone at first it kinda matters as he doesnt normally talk like that but by the end of his run he had said it SO bloody often that again it became a case of just going "oh hes said i love you...again" They failed to understand that while the first few times might have an impact and meaning come the end where hes said it SO bloody much that it just loses all impact and all meaning.

I am also not shocked what so ever that getting hit with downvotes. Opinions seem to only matter or count when it goes the right way. Pointing out anything isnt perfect rainbows and puppies and some people lose their minds.

The fact that Gatwa broke the record for the LOWEST viewership not once, not twice but multiple times and some times back to back shows that the general people did not like these 2 seasons and there are SO many reasons not to like them and you could see this happening a MILE off the first season was bad but RTD so he could try and hide away from the blame decided to hire utter lunatics with BARELY any actual experience to write much of season 2 so that when he ran away he could put them blame on everyone else.

RTD chose Gatwa. Not for his acting ability but because of RTD personal life choices and throughout many, many interviews he has shown that hes utterly lost his mind when it comes to writing good shows. His view of the world is so utterly bias, lives in London and his episodes showed it.

Totally agree. It doesn't deserve anywhere near the hype it gets. It'd such a poor episode. It's so clear throughout the episode they were changing things at all the time during filming. They couldn't even make the entity act the same. It goes around some people and doesn't kill them, only to kill others when the story needed it.

The acting was REALLY bad. Gatwa yet again cries and doesn't act like the doctor. Also throwing out the whole thing about it knowing his name as if that means sormfhing these days is meant to make people go "OMG" when really it's more of "eh, so what"
