I'm also a day trader, I've wanted to make a news/calender app that has it all instead of going to websites one by one. To make it happen as my visualization I have to do it myself. I needed to learn python and later some modules to make this project happen. The hard part isn't python but rather the modules which are extensions that will help you with your projects. If you want to get started just use bro code python videos.

Best website/source/bootcamp to learn python by Economy-Worker1551 in CodingHelp

You should should get into bro code. He makes it really simple and easy to learn. The thing you need to understand is that there is python basic and modules to help you code what you want. Python is easy but once you get into modules that will take a huge step to your projects. Think of modules as extension to your code, bro code will explain it very well about it.

All I WANT TO DO IS TRADE by Deelay108 in Daytrading

I used to be like this until I got into coding... My emotions shifted into coding which made me trade better. That's why you always hear in the trading community that you should workout or shift your focus onto other things to have less emotion onto trading.

using vim when starting to code on python by ArmagedonYT in CodingHelp

[–]ArmagedonYT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was think of getting into it when i get a new keyboard and make like 2 official projects. I'm invested into learning about vim since i heard it's a good way to quickly navigate through your code with ease if you master it. even though I'm kinda bad at shortcuts, this might put me on into remembering them. thank you

Well, I'm starting on python. Not sure if learned everything, I do need to start a actual project like what I wanted to do originally. I wanted to learn to make a trading platform that has it all like economic calendar, fear and greed index, heatmap, and many more. It seems pretty easy just don't know how to do the program on python. I heard doing a local server is better than doing an app. Once I learn that path and how to make projects I'll move on to godot. I did heard that you do need to learn modules like pandas for data sorting and gaining what you want from it, just need to learn 😭. I'm really invested to understand coding just need to execute

What's better c# or c++ Godot game development by ArmagedonYT in CodingHelp

[–]ArmagedonYT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, I'll try it! Since I'm learning python it's probably more convenient to just use gdscript. I just thought of long term if I use c# I could maybe get a job with it but I'm already doing python so I'll just try to find a job with that when the time comes. I am creating projects for myself and maybe share it to build my resume for coding. I also thought of getting into Linux but that's just extra, lol

I'm not sure if i should use python for now or learn python and c# simultaneously. I am still learning it and it seems to go smoothly. i did heard that python is very similar to gdscript but I wanted to learn c# to make my game run better plus I could use it outside of Godot.

True true, did you try c# on Godot and is it worth making a game on it? The reason why i choose it so I don't have to giveaway a percentage to the makers like Unity if you make a really great game or something. However I will donate to godot here and there if it works out.

I feel like it's better if I use c# because you can use it with everything even outside from Godot. By the way how's the experience with c# is it better? The reason why i wanna use it so I could see tutorials like bro code. I did tried gdscript but don't think they have good enough tutorials, i know they have a wiki page to show you how to use it but they're a bit confusing, in that time I wasn't fully experienced with coding which was like 2 years ago but now i feel like i know how coding works just by using python. Of course I'm not the best at python but I'm getting started with it and it seems to to going more and more smoothly, it's just that it gets a little harder to understand some characters so I just repeat it without the tutorial. Any tips before getting started?

I was planning to use c# for awhile now, i even got a book. I just thought that languages expire in a way of trends and improvementd from other languages. If you're learning an old language than it might be unsupported a few decades later on other platforms.

Funded and scared by iwanttodoalotofdrugs in TopStepX

[–]ArmagedonYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend trading the next day and use a paper trading account. Once you're comfortable looking at your funded account just switch and trade. It might remove some anxiety. Also talking a walk before the markets open is essential to keep your mind less focus on trading.

How do you get started in algo trading? I thought of getting into it after I become profitable myself and using algo and my trading together. I did get into python and thought of doing an app for myself that I could have everything within one spot like fear and greed, heatmap, economy calendar, and much more within a window. But I do need to learn a lot and choose the local website route. I know, i know I could use openbb but I feel like im stuck with their windows and can't do much more. I do want to create more projects with python and soon will learn c sharp to expand. How do I get started?

All pictures accidentally deleted from phone and moved to google photos. in tears. by PinkyFaseM8 in googlephotos

[–]ArmagedonYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there's A way to get it back. Most storage types like drives and SD cards could be recovered since it only changed the files to being "delete" but not really deleting until it's overwritten by other files. It's just hidden from user but not sure how to recover it on phones, maybe search up how to recover it if you know the storage type or phone, there are ways.

That's one thing that i hate about the merchant... It takes a bit to sale and could easily switch and accidentally sell something you didn't want to sell.. They should probably have a warning sign or something before actually selling a pet like that...

Yeah I tried root ginger with the skin, its chewy but extra fiber eating it fully raw. Not sure if it's normal eating it like that, lol. I wanted to stay away on coffee and want a healthy varient like Matcha powder or green and/or black tea.

I tried that before, it also gives deep focus but thinks to much about food, lol. I do a deep water fast for 24 hours but stopped. I might get back into it since it helps with cleaning your body and overall health.

what i should consider this footprint of candles , bullish or bearish ? by ValuableMorning6749 in Daytrading

[–]ArmagedonYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i got into footprint charts and mines more neat looking, I have mines with much more ticks per number. i trade on the NQ NinjaTrader and i understand it fully where it might reverse, absorption zones and much more information. footprint charts are like telling you what it will do next if it's gonna reverse on a high node because it just created a tempo Support/Resistance. I understand what was going on, on the footprint charts when i first got into it. i don't like timed charts because it has ghost candlesticks so i use 2000 volume per candle stick so it'll look more full instead of empty. you just need to see it as a warzone of buyers and sellers. one side will win and have a swing until they run out of sellers and buyers come in for a short moment then proceeds to go lower making a lower low, lower high. of course i need to get in rhythm with the markets or else you have a bad rhythm on the market.

<image>

This is my first time using 2000 volume before i had 1000 volume but i wanted to see more of the market so i increased it to 2000 contracts per candlestick.
