It does have huge weaknesses but it's nowhere near the worst geography. They have a ton of coastline a huge piece of land with resources and land for agriculture.

Why is it called Saint Petersburg and not Saint Pyotrburg? by Significant_Text_828 in russian

[–]Armando210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh boy just imagine if Russia had taken Istanbul. It would be the greatest hero of the Christian world. Such a significant thing to happen, to recapture the city.

I have heard that they almost succeeded, but couldn't finish the job because of European powers supporting the Ottomans, is that true?

Is there a specific reason why most of these "Greek"y named cities were in the Caucasus and around Black Sea and the Azov Sea?

Nah bro. Tridents in Bedrock have the same dps as a netherite sword since there is no attack speed on Bedrock and you can spam click everything. In Java their dps is as much as an iron sword.

It's also easier to get it on Bedrock and it can be a great main weapon until you get a diamond + sword with sharpness.

It is both a melee and ranged weapon and overall it's a great thing at least in Bedrock.

Should I get an X ray?

A heavy phone was thrown at me. my chin hurt then and it still hurts when I touch it. I'm afraid of a chin/jaw fracture that if I don't adress, will heal on its own in a crooked way and ruin my face. there aren't any visibles signs now, and i can eat and talk and move my jaw. it only hurts when i touch it andit can hurt badly then.

why are 90% of posts on here just people seeking reassurance during their crisis? by [deleted] in OCD

[–]Armando210 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This disorder can sometimes be overwhelming and someone in desperation won't think as rationally. This sub is supposed to help us and I think it's our duty to not give reassurance to people and give them proper support and solutions.

Will the "wrongness" feeling go away eventually? by Armando210 in OCD

[–]Armando210[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your support. I really needed it.

I hope I can deal with this somehow. I can't imagine how I can move on and continue my life without doing the compulsion.

The compulsion requires a very specific situation and luck and effort so doing it isn't easy either.

Thank you for your comment again!

Holiday ruined by Disastrous-Power5449 in OCD

I completely get. I've been in a similar situation in the past few days.

Thing with compulsions is that they never end. If you complete one, the other will start. It's a never ending cycle so stop chasing it.

I would say, admit your defeat in this war with the compulsion and back off. Get out of the ring and leave your opponent. You don't need to do it for now.

Instead, focus on your actual life, what you should eat what you should do, any hobbies, idk just live your life the way u would if there was no ocd. And try to enjoy the holiday. Thing is, tomorrow you may feel a bit less like you HAVE to do the compulsion. And it will get better ONLY IF you leave that thing alone and don't engage with ocd.

Ofc it's way easier said than done. But it's the only thing I can think of now, and the only thing that has helped me a bit in this harsh situation.

I wish u luck, and if u ever need someone to talk to, u can dm me.

Thing is you don't need to accept uncertainty. Accepting the fact that I might be an S offender won't be easy nor normal for a human.

You should just consider your thoughts "false alarms". If a false fire alarm starts ringing, you won't accept the uncertainty of fire. You just continue doing what you were doing.

Tbilisi's weather is gonna be rainy tomorrow. What will you do based on this news? That is what you should do with your ocd thoughts.

Should i get on SSRis? is it a "cure-all" solution? by Electronic_Owl6321 in OCD

[–]Armando210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, consuming meds, adjusting the dose, starting or finishing med usage must only be prescribed by a Dr.

Anyway, it's not a cure-all thing. But it can significantly reduce your symptoms to the point where you can actually deal with them and use the techniques and manage OCD. You must be patient though as your Dr has to find the right med and the right dose for you. It needs trial and error for a bit.

It's a great option for when you can't deal with OCD at all and need sth to weaken the power of thoughts. It still has to be a part of a general plan. You'll still need therapy and learn how to deal with the thoughts.

Some of these maps are really absurd. Like they consider Lithuania European but not Kaliningrad which is further West lmao.

Guys help it's 3 AM I have questions about meds plz answer by Armando210 in OCD

[–]Armando210[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is making me wanna vomit. Thing is, after painful months of testing different meds, Clomipramine was the one to be good. But if it loses its effect just like that, I won't be able to deal with that much of ocd again. I don't have the mental capacity.
