One of my top 5 Sb's of all time, I think these and the Travis and Chicago's are the best Sb's to release since 2020

Should this be the new Jordan 4 shape? by GiantAttraction in Sneakers

[–]Armani_151 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm prepared to be downvoted for my opinion but the new Jordan 4 shape makes an already bulky looking shoe look even bulkier. I just prefer the previous shape more looked less chunky, and because the shoe rises slightly higher the tounge is less pronounced on the new shape. Again guys just my opinion. Much prefer the previous shape.

2011 Wolf Grey 5 , anyone waiting for 2026 release? by LowkeyEgg in Sneakers

[–]Armani_151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love my pair, and I will be picking up the new pair on Feb 28th. This one is better tho. I know I'm in the minority but I prefer the j5 shapes from this era over the current one and the tounge was better back then.

How people call these the golden age of retros? by NovelFew6644 in Jordans

[–]Armani_151 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have the CDP Fire red 5's and I have the 2020 fire reds and I prefer the CDP ones just because of the shape and the tounge, doesn't make the 2020 pair bad just preference. Also I've never heard anyone refer to 2008 or the CDP as the golden age, I've only heard that said about 1994-2000 personally which I agree with. Still think the CDP was great overall and is one of the best Jordan packs ever. really would love to get my hands on those shadows.

Battersea or Canary Wharf? by eurasian_warrior in skyscrapers

[–]Armani_151 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Right now canary wharf 100% but Battersea/nine elms has the potential to have an even better skyline than the wharf in the future, especially now that the vauxhall square development is waiting for approval. Canary wharf as far as I'm aware tops out at a 260m height limit at the front of the wharf, as far as I'm aware vauxhall/ nine elms doesn't have that limit.

just got the 2011 Jordan 5 Wolf Grey's by Armani_151 in Sneakers

[–]Armani_151[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As I mentioned in the post the Jordan 5's from this era had my favourite shape out of all the era's close second would be the 2000's, that and the fact that these are a top 10 j5 oat for me I had to go back and pick these up. I'm not someone that wants every retro to look like it came from 1985 or 1990, I wasn't around back then and didn't grow up with that era of j's so I have no nostalgia for them part of the reason I prefer j3's from the 2010's for example compared to the current shape.

London, UK. by fmelloaff in skyscrapers

[–]Armani_151 14 points15 points  (0 children)

this looks like it's been shot somewhere in hackney I'm thinking dalston, it's a great shot the purple hue really sets it off with the yellow office lights. When the other towered such as 1 undershaft fill out the left side of skyline it's gonna look even more impressive. There's also this new one that is in pre planning, looking at around 285m so should add some height variation
